What a disappointment. If you read the reviews you could believe this was a nice place to eat. I arrived just before 7pm on a Friday night, it wasn't especially busy. When I arrived at the bar I was told I couldn't order food without a table number? After I pointed out an empty table, the staff eventually working out what number it was, I placed my order of steak with onion rings and peas. Fries and a side salad. Simple enough you might think? I sat at my assigned table and promptly sat back. The table was sticky and wet in places with spilled drink. I sat and waited... and waited.... and waited..... Eventually after 45 minutes I got up and asked the bar staff to chase my meal (presumably the cow was still running around in the field?) What I assume was the manager later appologised for the delay and told me my meal would be with me in a few minutes. High with anticipation, I watched as they crossed the room with my food. As I started to cut into the steak the manager came back asking "Is everything okay?" He seemed a little deflated as I replied, "I don't know. I haven't had chance to try it yet" As I popped the first piece of steak in my mouth, I almost spat it out. Picking it up the underside was burnt, and was tough as an old boot sole. The peas were uncooked, as was the tomato, just rubbed in the carbon residue left in the pan from the steak. The fries and onion rings were okay, and the only condiments for my side salad were mayo, tomato ketchup or brown sauce? I've been sitting here now writing this review with an almost complete steak cut up and sat on my finished plate. It has taken another 35 minutes for them to notice, despite sitting on the main toroughfair from the kitchen. The manager has paused a couple of times as he passes me, unsure if to approach me. I'm not leaving until he does though. When he finally went to clear my plate and I addressed my concerns he asked if I wanted anything else??? Why would I possibly want more? So he walked away!! Not what I would call a...

We arrived approximately 11.30am on a Sunday and came with friends, 12 of us in total. Some ordered drinks at the bar and some, like myself via the app. Everyone else’s drinks arrived but not ours, after a 20 minute wait I went to the bar and initially they couldn’t find my order but eventually did and then brought the drinks individually! I felt they wanted to make a point. Foolishly whilst waiting for drinks, we decided to order food, we ordered 6 chicken wings and a breakfast. After a wait of 50 mins I went to chase and was told another 10 minutes at least due to being short staffed. The man behind the bar showed us the screen with all the orders on and said that the screen was full when he arrived and they were doing their best. This wasn’t true as there were only a handful of people in when we arrived. It was now 56 mins since we ordered so asked for a refund, no apology was offered and were made to feel it was our fault. The group we arrived with had left about half an hour earlier and people that had arrived later than us had been served before we had. I often come to Wolverhampton either shopping or for the football but will think twice about...

How disappointing we arrived at the pub today and was given a Caribbean menu and as recommended by one of the pub team and after been given tasters from the menu, we ordered the food,

1 food toke some 45 minutes to an hour to be served , there was no rice and peas available as per the menu offer, we were then told of the sides available and processed to order and after the main course arrived it took them 45 minutes to an hour to let us know after we had asked where the sides available and were, that they had non available and rather with attitude the duty staff refunded the cost.

This was a shambolic service from start to finish with excuses made by the staff that made no sense and spoilt a afternoon celebration for our grandson birthday, before you wonder how many was in our party there were 6 adults and 5 children not a big gathering, the pub in which we were given this shamble of a service was the George Wallis pub in Wolverhampton and. I know people will say that you get what you pay for , this has nothing to do with costs but very very poor service. Shame on you today...

Ordered the 'Ultimate Chicken Tikka Masala' and got given a kids meal. Asked the person who served me after being ignored several times (and it was quiet) if thats how the naan bread is supposed to be and she looked at me like I was crazy and just said "yeh?" Very rude and uninterested. Staff issues comes from upper management as you can see by the response. Customers are treated as a hindrance and service is not important. The toilets have CCTV in as well. Thanks to the 'owner' for confirming the 'Ultimate' meal is 'to spec'. No reason to return.
