Absolutely disgusting. I grew up loving this place but it’s been going downhill for nearly 2 years now and it’s honestly a joke at this point. The chicken is either overcooked or undercooked or RAW, they never get it right! Plus the chicken is always slimy and the skin has so much slime and fat all over and and inside of it and under the skin, it makes my want to vomit. It’s also always cold on the inside, sometimes freezing cold. The chicken has lost its taste, I don’t know if their running out of seasoning or not but they need to step it up. (I remember that time when they ran out of chicken, but that’s a whole other review) the chips are atrocious and they are ALWAYS cold even when you just get them. The skin is always still on them and they are just really disgusting. They never get your order right too. I always order a drink with ice but they always forget the ice. And I’ve been noticing that they’ve been cutting down the food portions, especially with the ice creams (kream balls), which is not fair considering the money customers are paying for this poor excuse of a KFC restaurant. Don’t get me started on the toilets. Dear lord. I went in there and found poop on the floor, AND I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP AT ALL. The bathroom is never clean and smells un-humane. The “restaurant” in general is EXTREMELY beyond unsanitary. You will not go there without finding left over food and bits of crumbs and grease all over on your table or seat. The floors are also disgusting and I feel like even the air is greasy. The restaurant just smells bad overall, almost like stale oil or something, I just can’t put my finger on it.The staff also couldn’t care less, because they’re obviously not trying with their jobs whatsoever from what I’ve seen, witnessed and experienced. You have to ASK cleaners to clean your visibility dirty, disgusting and cluttered table and seat for you, otherwise they stand there watching you walk in and staring at you like a lampost expecting you to do it. I’ve once spent hours in there one time because my mum and I were waiting for someone to join us, and I’ve seen the cleaners use the same dirty cloth for more than 20+ tables and I almost gagged. Came here last week after walking out of McDonald’s as couldn’t tell who was queuing to order and who was waiting for orders. Much better service in here although the server who took our order did seem to get confused a few times in regards to what we wanted. He did ask for clarification several times. We only wanted a regular fillet meal, zinger meal and a regular tower not bbq but when we asked for regular he said ketchup or bbq. Never asked what drinks even though we said meals so we had to tell him. Asked for coffee and they don’t do it nor did the last one we tried. Not sure when every other fast food chain does.

When food came, didn’t get all 3 burgers so had to go back and ask for it. They did apologise.

Food was good when it came but the regular and zinger hadn’t had the flaps put down to tell them apart as I can’t have spicy. Luckily we figured it out by trying a bit!

Although, also fries were spicy with tons of pepper on which I’ve never seen in a KFC before, so a bit too spicy for me. Were nice but couldn’t finish them. Would be better to have a choice.

Place is also incredibly small! Luckily someone left as we were ordering as probably only about 10 small tables if that! Not sure what happened to the massive store in town with two levels as that was always busy! McDonald’s is still massive. Don’t know why this one downsized so much to being a bit ridiculous.

The toilet is also a locked disabled toilet only. Waited for ages for no one to come out, luckily we did have a radar key to get in to it but I doubt most people do looking at the reviews of people who couldn’t get in. I did let someone in after me the last time and held the door. Pretty sure they should leave it open.

I express my disappointment regarding a recent purchase I made at Wolverhampton - Queen St KFC outlets. I ordered a Hot Wings Menu, but to my dismay, the hot wings I received were in a less-than-satisfactory condition. As evidence, I have attached a photograph showing the wings' blackened appearance, which I believe was a result of their age. As a regular customer of KFC, I have always enjoyed the quality and taste of the food. However, this particular experience left me quite dissatisfied. The hot wings I received were clearly not fresh, and their unappetizing appearance made me question the overall hygiene and freshness of the food being served. I understand that mistakes can happen, but as a customer, I expect consistency in the quality of the food I receive. In this case, the hot wings fell far below my expectations. The blackened color indicated that they had been sitting for a considerable amount of time, compromising their taste and texture and my health too. I kindly request that you investigate this matter further to identify the cause of this issue and take appropriate measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. As a loyal customer, I would appreciate receiving hot wings that are freshly cooked, ensuring that I can enjoy the authentic KFC experience I have come to expect. I believe in the commitment KFC has to providing high-quality products to its customers, and I trust that you will address this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
