Made In Thai — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Ordered ribs, Thai dumplings, chicken fried rice and salt and chilli squid. We arrived and ordered at 19:40pm we didn’t get our food until 20:40pm the ribs were absolutely disgusting, they tasted old and it’s as if it was cooked with water, oil and tomato ketchup (I’m not even exaggerating sadly), I had 1 bite and threw it in the bin whoever cooked them should be embarrassed. I asked the waiter “do the dumplings have green peas, the man said no with his whole confident chest” sir if you wasn’t sure at least say that or go find out so I can decide if I wanna take that risk or not” because why did I get home and open the lid and green peas galore is looking directly in my face?? Another thing that couldn’t be eaten was the squid it tasted rotten, not an ounce of flavour, I’ve never tasted squid so bad, frozen squid from Iceland tastes better. I don’t leave reviews normally BUT THIS NEEDED IT. The food was awful, customer service was terrible, no one even apologised for the delay, we waited outside for an hour because they made us feel uncomfortable waiting inside. You’re lucky we drove because whether you liked it or not I would have been waiting inside otherwise. That was the first and last time I’ll ever give this place my money. I wouldn’t even feed that food to a dog. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Well , it ain’t very often I’m surprised by somewhere local but tonight was a poor , poor show all round. We last went here early lockdown times and it wasn’t great but we saw the reviews , fancied some tasty food so we thought we’d give it another go. Booked the table for 7:30 and arrived a little before …. No problem … there was a huge 60th party on with about 30/40 people and another couple of 8/10’s too so they were already busy. Anyway we waited to be served but not for long and the starters were fine to be fair. Then it all went downhill , we waited 45/50 mins for the mains and my sea bass was awful , it wasn’t even the one I’d ordered , it was cold and had no taste at all to it … the couple On the next table had the same problems waiting but at least they got something extra for their wait .. a HAIR in the food !!!! No this wasn’t great , too busy , not enough staff and STILL doing takeaways while paying diners were eating for poor food. We had to wait 45 minutes for a totally bland fish with no flavor, it was just spicy, and no apology for the 45 minute wait for this dish, I do not recommend this place to anyone, I was totally disappointed, in a restaurant the service is more personalized, the waiters should be attentive to each table and I did not feel in this restaurant but apart from that it was the wait for a meal that finally disappointed me because it did not taste authentic and it seemed like they made it so fast and bad, I imagine they ignored us because there was a giant table of 20 people that the waiters were going out of their way to serve while ignoring the rest.
