AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Lazy and unprofessional waitresses who do not care about the customer experience. I made an online booking for the afternoon tea at the Centenary Lounge. Once I arrived I stated that I would like to opt for the 'grazers afternoon tea' on the menu - this is an option where you can swap the sandwiches for some grazers. I was told that this was not possible as I had not made the staff aware in advance prior to arriving at the Centenary Lounge of my preference to switch to the grazers afternoon tea. It is not stated on the menu nor during the booking process that you must select which afternoon tea option you would like to go for. I was not asked whether I had any dietary requirements or allergies and therefore I was forced to go with the standard afternoon tea (which included sandwiches) as opposed to the grazers afternoon tea. I found that this was quite strange and later realised that the chef / waitresses had already prepared the sandwiches prior to our arrival and therefore did not want to throw these away and cook the alternate grazers that we were going to select. The sandwiches which we were then forced to have looked like a 3 year old had made them and the scones were bone-dry. The service was awful with the waitresses gossiping and giggling, ruining the experience of the afternoon tea. Utterly disappointed in the service and made up rules by the waitresses. I would give this restaurant no stars if it was possible! 1 star seems a bit too generous at this point. Would not recommend this...

I recently purchased an afternoon tea with Centenary Lounge, and I was not disappointed! I bought it as a gift for someone and they were so thrilled by this lovely treat during this lockdown.

The Centenary Lounge came highly regarded around the Worcestershire area, the website was really easy to use and they also delivered straight to her door! I was fortunate enough to speak with Aasia, the founder and managing director, who was so lovely to talk to and do business with. The whole process was incredibly easy and I would not hesitate to do it again.

I was so happy with my order. Within the box was an assortment of freshly baked treats and served well beyond the one person it was supposed to. As mentioned, everything was freshly baked, thoughtful and absolutely delicious! All for just £20 which I think is a steal considering the time and effort put into everything AND you do not even have to leave your house. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone in the area. Thoroughly impressed and I will definitely be coming back to continue supporting Centenary...

We came yesterday for my nans 80th birthday, for a lovely afternoon tea, and we're not disappointed!

A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, nice music and beautiful decor. It is also dog friendly, a large bonus as there were not many places we found in the centre that did so.

The table server, Tamzin, was super friendly and helpful, and really was very attentive with making sure we were seen to.

The food came out very quickly, and was a great spread of sweet food, with a few sandwiches. One of my only gripes was the lack of savoury options, as i feel like the 4 finger sandwiches could have been complemented with some sausage rolls or equivalent savouries.

The sweet options were all delicious, with a great variety and all well sized. In addition, the tea options were vast, with as much milk as you would like.

I believe for the price that this is a perfect place for anyone looking for a cute afternoon tea spot in Worcester, very grateful for such a...

Really lovely little place. The staff were friendly and really accommodating. The only thing I would say is that there could be an option for fresh juices as part of the drinks option, as they were actually cheaper than the teas/coffees on the afternoon tea catering. Also, our sandwiches were not what we ordered, but we were slightly awkward and asked for certain ones and not the whole range of what they would usually put out. Other than that, a nice afternoon, throughly enjoyable and filling! Also great value for money compared to other afternoon tea prices elsewhere! I would return in the future.

Fantastic valentines set meal. Very friendly staff who were happy to answer questions on the food and cocktail ingredients. Highly recommend. The transition from the cafe to evening venue was achieved through the subtle change of lighting. Lovely art deco style furnishing that transport you back to the time of luxury and elegance. Looking forward to going again soon for either afternoon tea or their mixology class!
