Little Dessert Shop — Restaurant in Worcester

All style, with no substance…

This dessert shop looks incredible on the inside and the decor is great!

We walked into an empty restaurant, that was overheated but the welcome felt cold.

It’s clear this franchise isn’t going to last long, as it doesn’t have any real character or engagement from the staff.

We were given some menus and told to order at the till. The menus were falling apart, held together with postal labels that said please do not rip.

After spending time deciding what we wanted to order, getting up to the till, I was told the first dessert wasn’t available to eat in. So I requested to order this as takeout, but to then eat in, the manager was called and then explained the reason it wasn’t available was due to a pricing issue on the till. Which manager and store is unable to either amend prices, or add additional charges to an order, or god forbid they compt’ it for free.

We revisited the menu and picked an alternative, then came the drinks order. Again the first drink was unavailable (Spanish Latte) with no real reason given… at this point I wanted to walk out as I felt like I was obvious more of a burden to them. Swapped the drink to a normal latte and waited around 10-15 minutes for the order to be brought out.

During that time, the manager and another person decided to sit on the seating area, opening bills, taking phone calls over speaker phone and watching videos on social media.

Not a great experience at all, would not visit again and would certainly not recommend you spend any time...

We were in two minds weather to explore this establishment as you can't tell wether it's open or not. The glass window on the front door is absolutely filthy, we walked in anyway as was curious to check the place out. The tables were filthy, there were dirty plates on the tables that hasn't been cleared, there were cob webs all over the top of the front door, the wall paper was peeling off the wall. Went to look at the cakes at the front and the glass was really smeared like it hadn't been cleaned for ages. The cakes looked stale and off. The two girls who were serving hadn't got a clue what they were doing at all. The menu is confusing and very false advertising too, the prices are wrong and you are charged more at the tills. The dessert I wanted they didn't have, so had to change my choice again and they didn't have it lol took 5 attempts as half the stuff on the menu they didn't have. And it takes them forever to issue a refund as they haven't got a clue how to do that, had to wait forever to get one as they were on the phone to the manager on and off. In the end had the refund back in cash. Would not recommend this place at all. Staff haven't got a clue what they are doing and the place is absolutely filthy!! Will not be going back. Avoid this place if you can, I would check out Valentino Gelato instead which is down the road 👍...

we went in this evening to order a couple of milkshakes because we wanted a sweet treat and we’ve never really had an issue here before, i ordered two chocolate blast milkshakes and they came out as sundaes. at first we thought it was a mistake as it happens sometimes which is fine, but then the woman who took our order at the till came over and said that i had ordered to 2. chocolate blast brownie sundaes and then had proceeded to say that i never said milkshake.she then had also said that she wouldn’t have made a mistake and that she had double checked my order with me and that i said it was correct, i said it was right because i was under the impression that i was getting two milkshakes , after all of this the woman didn’t offer to make us the milkshakes we wanted and we would have paid for them and because of this it felt like the only option was to take the sundaes. At the end of the day we understand that mistakes happen especially in hospitality but we don’t appreciate how it was handled and we don’t appreciate being blamed for a mistake that...
