Having been as a small group of 4 and been very impressed, we decided to push our luck and booked for 19 on Father's Day. The food was just as good! Given the number of diners we were asked to pre-book our choices which felt entirely reasonable. The choice was made slightly more difficult following our previous visit where I had the beef which was sublime, but got to see and taste the belly pork which was just as good! We also knew that the cauliflower and broccoli side was both beautiful and huge, so only added 3 of these. We turned up mob handed on Father's Day and were welcomed in to the bar where we the CAMRA members of the group were treated to an excellent choice of well kept ales. Our table was ready shortly afterwards and we were seated at one long table in the cosy and intimate dining room. We asked for the children's meals to come out first, guessing there would be a slight delay between the first and nineteenth plates coming out! As it was, we were all able to eat together and enjoyed the occasion immensely. The food was beautiful across all our meals. The children's portions were only marginally smaller, and we still didn't get through all the cauliflower and broccoli cheeses. On both occasions the staff were very friendly, engaging and accommodating. I am amazed at how well they managed a group our size in such a modest sized venue - well done to the whole team. We will certainly be back and very happy to recommend the Paul Pry - however...

When i wanted to Travel somewhere different and totally not like my normal Pub or Restaurant. I first had a Good look on my Road Map and found another branch of Paul Pry in Worchester. I made the long journey over to this Beautiful Town/City. I headed straight for the Pub/Restaurant in Worchester. When i arrived in there carpark, there was plenty of spaces for me to park. I parked up and went inside the Establishment. I was very Impressed and made Welcome by the Maitrè De. Had they got a table for one, yes they had. I was escorted to my table and given a Menu. I ordered a Pint of Doombar and ordered my Food. Vegetable Soup and Sirloin Steak with Chips & Onion Rings. I sat down at my table and just relaxed. Took in, how Gorgeous the Restaurant was. I did not have long to wait, my Soup was served to me and the Server said, Enjoy your meal Sir. I did Enjoy my Soup and Steak & Chips. I really did Enjoy my meal and Beer. When it came to paying the Bill, i was very pleased what it all cost. I paid cash and left a Good Gratuity. I really am Glad i made the long journey to this Excellent Establishment of Paul Pry in Worchester. I Recommend you come and visit....

This was the second time I’ve been for a roast and the second time I have had the PERFECT Sunday roast. I know, these are big words, but I promise that I am not using them lightly. I’ve had hundreds of carvery’s and Sunday roasts, but this roast at the Paul Pry stands head and shoulders above them all. The first time I had beef, which was beautifully cooked and falling apart. It comes with roasted carrots, roast potatoes and a large Yorkshire pudding. There were 3 of us and the separate bowl of cabbage and sautéed radishes (delicious) was plenty for the 3 of us. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese (£5) and we struggled to finish it. I mean we DID finish it, but there was plenty. I wanted a side of pigs in blankets and was warned that it was a large portion. It’s basically two full sized sausages wrapped in bacon!!! For £3 I had one to me and the other 2 diners shared one. Even if you are a big eater, then I guarantee it will be plenty to share. This time I had the lamb which was just as delicious. The staff are lovely. Friendly, attentive and helpful, and yet not too much. Definitely try this place and if you don’t think it’s worth 5 stars I’d be shocked. Oh and the beer and cider options were also...

This is one of Worcesters hidden gems. We went on a Sunday afternoon for Sunday lunch and this place certainly is a must visit. You do need to book as only open a few days a week and is highly popular. We booked a few weeks in advance and know at the date of posting this in November because of Christmas they are booked until January. This has several items on the menu but the food is superb as is the service. One of our party had the roast beef, one had the roast pork and two had the nut loaf. The whole meals were brilliant, all came with huge Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots. A separate dish of cabbage and we also had a side dish of broccoli cheese that was enough for the four of us. We didn't have room for dessert but we did see some and looked outstanding. If you want somewhere different we can certainly recommend a visit here. No car parking on site but we parked Hive car park and it was a 5 minute walk to the entrance.

Visiting the swan theatre in the area and this is Great little quirky pub to stop off at and is 5-10 walk away. In this pub it's got a Good range of unusual beers and nice tasting too. Food very good, we had chicken wings to start and smash burger as a main. Very nice I must say. Staff are really really nice and very friendly. I will be going back. As I personal preference I did find the starter a little heavy on my stomach before my main but that's just me. Maybe next time ill try something else. Nice place and well worth a visit

Probably the best Sunday lunch in the world. Fantastic old traditional pub, great selection of beers and wines at reasonable prices, but the highlight for us was the food. We had a beef and pork Sunday lunch and they were fabulous, won’t be going elsewhere on Sundays when we visit Worcester next. Big shout out to the great staff also, thanks for the blue wine bottle and candle 😉
