Level 1 — Restaurant in Worthing

Had two encounters with this place now and both times left unhappy. 1st time we waited for 45 mins for a chicken burger, the money had left the account. Not one member of staff told us the chicken had run out of stock, our drinks were finished. I had to go up to the Fika bar and request a refund. 2nd time (yesterday), I took my boyfriend & parents there after a day down the beach. 4 small meals and 4 drinks came to £95.97!!! The chicken burger from Fika that we were desperate to try was horrible, barley any flavour! Truffle chips were lovely, and my mum ordered chips and squid which was very tasty. However I was utterly shocked when I checked the receipts that I was charged service charge for every different bar we ordered from - £6.90 in total. My mum spoke to the waitress who didn’t offer to refund that, the app is confusing, slow and painful.

To top it all off, we saw the chef in Fika cook the food. He had a tea towel under his sweaty hat, took off the hat and cleaned the plates with the tea towel! Disgusting

Deffo won’t be returning unfortunately, great spot but terrible service & food...

Not the greatest

The venue has a lot of potential to do well but is let down by no signs of Managment and very unprofessional bar team.

The tall female with curly hair and glasses appeared to be colouring in something whilst we were waiting to be served. There was no friendly welcome just our drinks being made after having to ask. The card machine was thrown in front of us to pay and that was the whole experience.

There doesn’t look like a manager running the venue at all and gives of a very laissez faire environment which makes the venue feel lawless.

The only upside to the visit was the service at the food bar and the food arriving itself which we couldn’t fault in anyway it was presented and cooked...

Waiting time for drinks was 20 minutes, waiting staff try to avoid you because the wheels were falling off the wagon.

Waited an hour for fries and a salad from Skewered and both were disappointing, barely any feta on the Greek salad & bland tomatoes, no oregano and garlic on the fries like they were advertised. Friend had a gyros wrap that was missing fries.

Bao buns from Bao House and burgers from Pickles were both pretty good, burgers were the quickest to arrive.

As another person said, tables are grubby and need a good clean, empty drinks weren’t being cleared from tables. Had a better experience last year there, hope they turn things around as it is a great use of the space and the...
