And now, to add… I think a certain Mr Porter has got his knickers in a twist recently and most certainly is bored to have written such a review given the hit small businesses have had over the last 18 months. You see, it’s really easy to write these reviews but the impact can be devastating and all because a customer didn’t get their own way… I, for one, value the fact the SIP team think about the Heath and Safety of their staff and customers and, let’s face it, who wants to sit outside in the rain anyway! Remember, Steve, SIP are taking a financial hit to decide not to serve outside, so there must be good reason. Plus, as it’s their business, and not yours, they have the freedom to make such decisions without being scolded online. I’m sure the SIP team could seat some tables next to the bins to make a few more pennies but that experience wouldn’t be pleasant for customers or staff. Steve just looks like someone who hasn’t got his own way… and as for the comments about COVID, SIP have some of the best measures I’ve seen locally and they are consistent with them so I think that point is invalid.

This is one of our favourite places to go for coffee and cake. The cakes are delicious and beautiful. So when we wanted somewhere for our daughters christening there was only one place we wanted to have it. What an amazing day we had. The food and drinks were brilliant. All our friends and family were complimenting what an amazing place it is. In the garden you wouldn’t know your right in the middle of town. Just beautiful and we couldn’t recommend this place enough. 💕 Just a little extra note….. I hoped these COVID times would bring a little empathy and kindness. First time visiting today and I loved it. The staff is very kind and friendly. The menu is full of delicious drinks and food, it is very difficult to choose just one item! Iced coffee with caramel syrup was delicious and the tiramisu sliced cake was sooo tasty too. I also couldn't leave behind the Banoffee croissant which I took home with me.
