After been waiting for long 3 years finally we managed to visit. We went on Sunday evening, posh presented and well decorated ,huge menu with lots of choices of starters and mains. Good wine selection on their drink menu, however my friend asked for a glass of an Italian red wine and the waitress started suggesting too much another wine (didn’t say which one, just “ooooh leave it with me I’ll give you another one”), so my friend clearly asked the woman “don’t you have the wine I asked for”, eventually she replied that they didn’t have the wines on menu but one. We managed to place the order , we had 2 mains and couple of starters. Not really worth the price, specially for evesham. I ordered fried goats cheese which came soaked into honey and some dry apricot. Falafel were ok. Halloumi cheese with these spicy beef sausage very disappointing. Two halloumi square, with 1/4 of basically a spicy Frankfurt sausage and in the middle of the plate 1 cube of cucumber and a cube of tomato (that’s the salad for this dish ). Definitely not worth it the £8. They bring you some bread followed by some sauces to dip in it and a bowl of salad. Mixed grill was ok , lamb ribs a bit over cooked. Range of price per person £30. Lots of misunderstanding with waitress and service wasn’t great. None came to ask if everything was ok at the table neither when we paid which I reckon it would’ve be extremely appreciated. Tried this place as a foursome with friends on Saturday 20/05/23. The restaurant looked nice and it was showing good reviews so we were expecting a nice experience. However we were very disappointed. The staff were completely disorganised, nobody seemed to be in charge, and there seemed to be a difficulty understanding English with most of them. We waited ages for menus. Then waited ages for someone to take our order. And then we waited ages for the food to arrive. They brought out 3 of the meals and the 4th followed only after we told them we were waiting for it, it took about 20 minutes for the 4th meal to arrive. The table next to us were experiencing similar problems and when their food arrived they were given something that they’d already told the staff that they were allergic to. The food itself was mediocre at best. Greasy, too salty, and nobody asked if it was ok. We had to get up and stop someone to get another drinks order because they just weren’t aware that we were empty. Overall it was a disaster, a terrible experience and we would definitely not be...

Very disappointing experience. We booked a table of 4 well in advance as we live 45 minutes away and we’re visiting friends who live In Evesham. We got seated, fine, but more people were arriving without bookings and even though it was getting full, they seated them all.

They obviously didn’t have enough staff as their chef came out to wait on tables but the still didn’t turn anyone away.

After waiting almost 25 minutes to get our order taken, I got out of my seat and found a staff member and asked them to come to our table, after another 10 minutes we finally got our order taken.

When the food finally arrived they forgot my husband’s main and it was awkward eating ours while his was being cooked. Mine was salty but ok not worth almost £18 for a vegetable casserole. No one came to ask if everything was ok with the meal.

We did get an apology and a bite sized cake thing but no offer of a discount or drink.

I rarely write a negative review but I’m hoping the staff take this on board and...
