Messy Jessy's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Aberdeen

Waitress was a little inattentive to us, but maybe she's new. But was sure to tell us about how much she's played the claw machine. Food was very filling and tasty. Fries and tots crisp. Buns on burgers a lil soggy BUT they are very juicy burgers. Some of liquid cheese on nachos looked like dried globs of mystard?? But it was a huge portion. Each person's dish(4 people)came out individually. First the nachos that weren't ordered as appetizers, then BLT, then mushroom burger followed by the "namesake" burger(ordered "I'd like the messy Jesse please." But had to ask to make sure as waitress wrapped up"that does come with everything right?" Which were then told "yes but that's extra" we know. That's why we ordered it as the messy Jesse! She then "fixed it on order device 😑) by the cook about 5 minutes after mushrooms burger. Were told she needed cooks help to bring out because of balancing both thus assumed it would be right out. We teach our kids that you don't eat until everyone at table has something usually so even though we encouraged them to go ahead, theirs was cold by time we ate. We had to ask for refills , boxes and check(even though we had clearly been done for awhile) but the young waitress seems to be nice and mean well. We had an absolute blast with games and claw machine. One kid pretty much removed a dozen items and almost rest of trip money lol.

Definitely an experience that we will remember and not just negatives. They were only restaurant that was open on memorial day, but we were 1 of 4 customers. 2 were in bar where waitress spent most time, which makes sense tip wise if she...

I've been here a few times before and everything was great. Tonight my daughter and I came in. Busy but since it was Friday we guessed it would be. Server Amber was pleasant while taking our order and bringing our food. Unfortunately our meals were awful. I RAVVVVE about the tator tots here and tonight they tasted and looked like frost bitten frozen tots. My cheese burger didn't taste good either and our fried pickles seemed off as well. I don't know if they changed products or what. But we did not enjoy our food. We waited and waited for our server to check on us but she literally disappeared. She never came back by to check on us-get refills-or to see how our meal tasted. It was about another 20 min or so when we finally got up to go ask for our check so we could leave and the only person we could find was a bartender. Waited a few more minutes when a different server came out and she walked by and we stopped her for our bill. When she brought it to us she could tell clearly we were unhappy with our food and service and didn't say a word about the fact that our entire meal was still sitting there. So we paid and left. Not sure if I ever want to try again. Would give zero stars if I could but it...

I really want to like this place, be a its family/ locally-owned but I think they honestly buy stuff out of the freezer section to serve. The mozzarella sticks and sauce most definitely are. They use cheese sauce for nachos. Everything's bland and just not that good. I've eaten there twice now. 1st time there was 5 of us 2nd time just me and my son. Not of of us thought the good was good. For a sports bar it's cold, sad and boring. There's no energy in the place. The staff kept staring at me while I ate, was kinda creepy and literally asked a million times if I needed anything else which is good but now every 2 seconds😬 also the closed Light was on I almost didn't go in but my son checked the door.and said the sign says they are open. Maybe they didn't want us to eat there not sure. I know if your not local small town restaurants aren't friendly and this place isn't any different unfortunately.
