Since getting my medical card I have only visited 2 dispensaries thus far, and so far I have come to find that Rise is more of just a convenient place to go for me because it's right down the road from me, but I have also come to find that True Wellness has become my favorite, as well as my most visited dispensary thus far for the following reasons A.) The prices are better, at least for concentrate that is B.) They have more of a selection, and C.) The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. D.) I also recently learned that 2 people that I know personally work at True Wellness which makes me feel even more comfortable being there, and my visits have been very pleasant and I typically feel very comfortable there. However, a recent visit I had made to their facility the other day was not a typical visit at all, and to be honest it was not pleasant in the least. First the employee called me back and called me by my wrong name. Although I decided to not correct the said employee because it was almost time for the store to close as I had come in kind of last minute at around 7:35 and they closed at 8 so I let that go and went about our business. Well long story short the girl was noticably irritated with me the whole time and didn't really help me pick out something in particular to help with my conditions. I had to tell her what I liked and what kind of things tends to work for me, and kept having to ask questions about the percentages of the different types of Cannibinoids in the concentrate myself. Which luckily I kind of have an understanding of what it is I need now thanks to other employees there, and everytime she had to look something else up or go back and get a different kind because the percentages weren't what I needed she would kind of cop an attitude and I could clearly tell that she was irritated with me, and that she clearly did not want to be there. This actually made my anxiety sky high and the entire experience unpleasant for me to be honest, and no one should feel that way when going to their doctor's office or pharmacy, and a dispensary should be a place where you can receive help and feel comfortable just like you would at a pharmacy. I will not let this one experience deter me from going to a place I typically enjoy purchasing my medication through, however I will be addressing this little incident next time I come in because I shouldn't have to feel constant anxiety while shopping for a medication that is meant to help treat my anxiety and other ailments. I'd rate it 5 stars if not for this one little particular...
Read moreThe 2 stars are due to the poor quality of products. People in MD are so pumped about recreational and don’t even realize we are being burnt out of our money. The flowers at this location are always dried out which decreases potency. The seal is a joke-miniature strip of paper tape will not do the job. The product needs to be plastic sealed and seal covering under top. The product is not secure without those precautions, increase the risk of theft/weight being shorted and will dry out. Whomever trim these products is either suffering from arthritis/smoking real flower unlike the customers because all of the fan leaves left on product is sad. It is no way that the quality and quantity from the street is better than a dispensary. I can take a flight to the Northwest, get over an Ounce good-good for less than $100, blow that while chilling with my peoples, come back home empty handed and still made out better than any dispensary in MD. Legislation should’ve gave the weed dudes their own dispensary not these corporate dummies. It is too many people in it for the money but don’t have knowledge of merchandising, procurement of goods and quality. Ascend-your plugs suck and the customer’s pockets and high is deeply affected by that choice. Your customer service is good but the way my bank account is set up-“PRICE HIGH, CAN’T GET HIGH-THAT’S A NO BUY-AND EVENTUALLY BYE BYE TO...
Read moreYes, we are all in a stressful time right now and working together to make the best out of it, right? When you go to a dispensary, you want a good experience and to be treated with respect and kindness. It was a busy day and patients had to wait in the parking lot to receive their orders. Came the day before and it was even busier, yet the process went smooth and staff was very kind and professional. However, this busy day came with staff member cussing at one of the patients right in front of us. The staff member was not pulled up on these actions due to one of the owners cursing and throwing product behind the scenes. Seems leadership displays immature actions, therefore the staff thinks it is okay to cuss at a patient? When reviewing the order, no stickers were on the product and when it was weighed (had a feeling) it was short on 3 out of the 5 eighths. Not cool! Spoke to a few patients that shared other locations where this would never, ever happen. Reporting this to corporate offices, never going back. Wanted to try and speak to leadership, yet it would not help since they lack respect and professionalism and allow staff to cuss at patients. Noticed they respond to positive feedback only. Will report to State of...
