Would give zero stars if I could. In the 4 months that I have lived here, I have never had a good experience. Our first visit, the employee with red hair who works drive through got mad because we were missing something and he tossed the item out the window at us. Another time, we waited for 35 minutes inside after ordering for our food. I understand being busy and places are short staffed, but this seemed excessive. Once we got our food, the fries were very soggy and some were still frozen. This morning we ordered on the app to avoid having to wait such a long time. We ordered 30 minutes before we were picking up just to be safe. Upon arrival, we were told that we didn’t order. We pulled up the receipt that showed the order and the location, but we were told they didn’t get it. They were busy, drive through line wrapped around, and people standing everywhere waiting for their orders. We didn’t have time to wait 20-30 minutes so we were told to just cancel it ourselves on the app for a refund. We won’t be back here. I know Abilene does not have many food options but I’d rather avoid this place altogether than endure another terrible experience here. Avoid it....
Read moreGoing to McDonalds tonight was a freaking nightmare. My husband and I met some friends for coffee. When we walked in...one of the guys in the back was yelling at the girls in the front and when they told them there were customers he continued to yell. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and walked over to take our order even though there were at least 8 people working. It took them 20 minutes to get our order. They got my order wrong so i I had to get a refund. A specialty coffee was less than a frappe that they charged me for. I thought I was waiting on my specialty coffee only to find out my husband was at the table with it and I was actually waiting on his regular coffee. The coffee they gave my husband the forst time was cold (which is a regular thing) and the girl that I was dealing with had no idea how to run the coffee maker, literally. I am appalled at the way the McDonalds manager is running this business. They are not training their employees and if they are...they definitely need additional training. Read moreWe all know Mcdonalds isnt the greatest job in the world. I worked at 2 stores over a couple years and this is by far the worst experience Ive ever had at one. Even the ones back home on the south side of Chicago are better. Used my app for a free qtr pounder, asked for it plain. Ordered everything individually but the girl taking my order put it into a meal, to save me money I assume but when I get to the window and present the code, the girl throws a fit (body language and tone) and tells me I need to order them separately next time. It literally takes 2 seconds to undo it as a meal. She eventually does it and rings it up. I pull up to the next window and they tell me to move up in a tone as if its my fault they’re moving slow to begin with. I get my food and drive away and realize my burger isn’t plain which I was gonna let go until I saw my large fries was half-A**ed filled. Standard is to cover the fries on the carton. I wont even bother going back to correct this issue because of the staff.
