Tea2Go — Restaurant in Abilene

I have been going here the last three years and this review comes off of repeated instances of poor service and multiple chances. Today myself and other customers waited on our drinks for 25 minutes while one of the baristas was pacing around, laughing, stalling on her phone, staring at the wall while wasting our time. It was not busy. The other barista whom I assume was new and only knew how to do the register didn’t know how to make drinks, which is fine, everyone has their first days which is why I have let a lot of my lack luster service slide. However, it has become every occurrence is watered down drinks, not made right, or multiple times I have ordered a seasonal drink, specifically the energys and because they don’t know how to make it they skip over me and make me wait 30+ minutes. I have had no problem with the north side tea2go, but I rarely make it over there, and don’t want to drive 20 minutes for service that I should be receiving from the catclaw location. For the same price, I can go to Starbucks and get a coffee and know it’s gonna be made right and taste the...

We regularly come here and the staff is wonderful and the drinks are great. The reason that we come here is because my son‘s girlfriend works here. However, recently, Abilene had a great bit of rain that led to flooding. My son was in the store getting tea when the heavy rain started, and it began to flood the street in front of the store. He decided to wait it out instead of driving in water. He waited 45 minutes. Sitting at the table, not disrupting any staff or other customers. The manager on duty at that time (Maddie sp?) proceeded to To give a written warning to my son’s girlfriend that My son was in the store too long.

The manager outright abused Her position. That is not a leader. And that is not acceptable to reprimand an employee for a customer trying to be safe.

I really don't know what I am doing as far as picking out the tea leaves etc. I like that they have like a small bar you can just get pre made tea/lemonades at and they started making these mixed drinks with cool names like "Wonder Woman" that are mixed and perfect for people like me who don't really know what might taste well mixed together or who just like things to be simple and laid out when they make an order. I don't go here very often, but the prices are fair and the cup sizes are fair so you get what you pay for. Their smallest cup size usually lasts me a good 8 hours of work or the whole day if I don't work. They are fast too and it's never really busy so no wait times or if people are in there very little wait time to...
