Village Delicatessen of Jenkintown — Restaurant in Abington Township

I am so happy that I found this Awesome Deli that's a Hidden Gem in Jenkintown, PA. So today May 15th, 2021, was the 3rd time I had Ordered food from the Village Delicatessen and they did NOT disappoint. Today, I ordered a Corned Beef & American Cheese sandwich on Rye bread and it was delicious! Just like my Italian Hoagie and my Roast Beef & Cheese Hoagies before today. I am so loving everything I have eaten from this deli. And the Deli Workers are so Very Friendly, Helpful & Patient with me and quite frankly with ALL Their Customers BOTH in- person and over the phone, too. I just love how Fresh everything is from their Rolls/Bread, Meats, Cheeses and all the vegetables that you get on your Hoagies and Sandwiches. Plus they have a great variety of sides and chips and desserts.to choose from, too. I really Love Love Love this Village Delicatessen. I plan on trying All the different Hoagies they make as well as their cheese steak sandwiches, too. If you are nearby, and you haven't been here yet, you should Really try them out. I am a Big Foodie and I can Honestly say their Hoagies and Sandwiches are Totally Way More Better and Tastier than Any Lee's Hoagie House and Definitely better than Subway or WAWA Hoagies and Sandwiches. Having grown up in Philadelphia, I often say the best cheesesteaks can be found at those unknown corner stores in the (neighbor)hood. The Village Deli brings that great corner store experience in the middle of the block in Jenkintown. I always experience great customer service whether ordering online or in person. The Village Deli is more than a one hit wonder. I have ordered cheesesteaks several times and each time the food quality as been 10 out of 10. In addition, I have also called ahead to pick Western Omelets with cheddar cheese for breakfast on the way to work. The food was ready and very tasty. This place has changed hands 3X (that I know of). I am so appreciative of the fact that they have kept the menu items the same. They have also adapted to the way things were made as well. Quality is just as good as always. The ladies that are there now are so sweet and kind. They missed something on one of my items one time, and they called me within 2 mins to have me come back to fix it. (It really wasn't a big deal, but they wanted to make it right.)
