Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Jenkintown

Worst experience I've ever had at outback Worst food I've ever had.

My steak tasted like gas!! I shared a piece with my brother to make sure I wasn't crazy, he said same thing. I tried a piece from other side and had to spit it into napkin. (This of course was a napkin I got myself when I went to the bar to help myself for straws for the table because we weren't provided any and our server was no where around -nor was anyone else at 6pm Wednesday evening)

Anyway, after waiting to finally find a server somewhere meander by, we requested him to get our server because again, he was no where to be seen. When he came over, he nicely apologized asked did I want it to be recooked. Well at that point, time was running late so I had to decline and told him why. If course I was apprehensive anyway.

He went to the back, I suppose to talk to the cook, came back and Saud sorry, it was the grill and put the bill on the table. Hell if I know how the grill can infuse my steak with a marinade of gas!!!

Now here's the kicker!!! The bill charged me for the fries and veggie portion of the meal!!!!! Are u F* kidding me?!!! 3.99 EACH. and btw, fries were cold when they were served! No time to argue cause we were going to an event but damn! NEVER going back there. NEVER!!

UPDATE: I was reallllly pleased and impressed with the quick and attentive response to my experience. I responded direct thru the website link and explained my experience and disappointment since visiting pre vs post covid. WHAT A JOKE! Looks good. Huh?! Never received a response! I noticed all of the reviews with dissatisfied experience received the same same generic seemingly caring response. While the place wasn't as crowed as I thought with I thought was a plus. However the experience was not very pleasant at all. The staff for the most part was very nice including the manager who was making her rounds and was engaging with customers a lot. The hosts where a little immature and where not extremely friendly but that wasn't too bad. There where several lights out that made it hard to read menus.. The main fault though seemed to be in the kitchen.. Our food was sub par to say the least and took forever. They got several orders wrong as well as didn't have any blooming onions but didn't tell us till after 20+ mins of waiting for the app. They made dishes spicy that weren't supposed to be spicy and forgot items on other dishes that where ordered. By the time we got our main course it was over an hour and a half after arriving. They didn't have coffee and said they'd brew a fresh pot when we got it it was awful and like some of the dishes received, was unable to be consumed. Then to top it off we where going to order desert but where informed that we could not due to it being so late. It wasn't our fault that we didn't receive out food till well after closing time. A good staff would have informed us that the kitchen was closing and if we wanted to order desert to place an order before it did. Very very dissatisfied I will never bring my family here again. I’m in 54 years old and I never seen such lack of human consideration. Let’s start off by how yesterday evening I had a server by the name of Ariel or Eriel tall skinny girl with a bob, and tattoos very very rude little girl . I have been coming to OUTBACK in Jenkintown for over 8 years now and ever since they switched management , Jenkintown hires anybody they find off the street. First off I want to say she reeked of Marijuana and this is the second time I have came into this establishment and smelled her. I have asthma I can not nor do I want to smell like that so yes as soon as she walked to my table I asked her did she have spray to spray herself she laughed and walked off , she never introduced to me her name I had to find that out by asking another server, shortly after receiving our drinks, I then ordered a steak well done it came out cold, when I asked for her to have them heat it up she snatched my plate and rolled her eyes. Yes I’m not sure if miss lady had a bad day but you leave your problems at the door. Staff wise here has been getting really bad at this location. Very unacceptable.
