Buckle up, coffee adventurers, because I've stumbled upon a caffeine haven in Jenkintown that's like the Gilmore girls' dream come true! 🌟 This quirky little coffee spot is a cozy nook, just waiting for you to dive into its eclectic mix of coffee wonders.
Now, don't be fooled by the size labels – a "small" here is practically pocket-sized! If you're the type who likes your coffee served in dollhouse portions, this is your spot. But fear not, there are about as many seats as there are flavors of coffee (5 to 6, to be exact), making it a charming hideaway for studying or playing hooky during work hours.
Word of caution, fellow adventurers: the parking situation is a bit like a puzzle. Bring your credit card or cash because, just like your favorite mystery novel, paid parking is nearby. There are app-related parking spots too. But heads up, you can't just do a quick coffee pit stop – it's more of a "park for three hours, sip coffee, and enjoy the vibe" kind of deal.
Oh, and the bathroom – fear not, it's a solo act, but surprisingly clean with a view that rivals the neighbors' gossip-worthy stories. Be prepared, though; this place can get as packed as a clown car during work hours. With only a handful of seats, it's a cozy spot, not a spacious arena. So, grab your tiny cup, find a seat, and let the caffeinated adventures begin! ☕🎉 #CoffeeCraze...
Read moreMy recent visit left me feeling invisible. I walked a long way on a cold day excited to try one of White Horse's fall beverages. Upon arrival, I stood at the counter for five long minutes waiting for one of the two baristas to acknowledge my presence. They both saw me but neither addressed me or asked for my order. While waiting, a couple arrived and stepped right in front of me. One of the baristas took THEIR order and only then asked me what I was having. I didn't acknowledge the slight, ordered the 'Autumn Harvest' which advertises as hot apple cider with cinnamon and caramel. I was served a hot drink that tasted and looked more like apple tea. None of the opaque appearance or richness of cider. Certainly no cinnamon or caramel. And $4 for a small. The drink wasn't as advertised (I dumped it after drinking about a quarter of it) and the service was insulting. It was a hurtful...
Read moreI wouldn't say I like the way they make coffee for customers. White Horse is not a convenient or grocery store. They are a coffee shop. Then they should have a set amount of cream and sugar to make coffee. Unfortunately, when I tried ten times, ten times different tastes. That means they don't train their workers well enough. Because there was no cream bottle out, I had to ask for extra cream sometimes, and most of the workers there didn't seem that kind for my request . The quality of the coffee is good. But they need to be more trained to serve drinks. If they don't care about nasty comments because they are just a tiny local shop; I don't know what to say anymore. Otherwise I hope they would be better for...
