McDonald's — Restaurant in Absecon

I noticed that fast-food places don't get reviewed as frequently as traditional restaurants do but I feel it's important that active Yelp contributors create reviews periodically of the local fast-food establishments that they frequent because in my opinion people mostly only post reviews of fast-food locations when they have bad experiences. So without further ado here is my review of this McDonald's. I work in the area of this McDonald's and I've been going here a couple times a month for about a year now. In my opinion this is a well managed McDonald's. I've been inside when the doors have just been opened in the A.M. and the interior from the restroom, dining area, and counter have been very clean. I have used the drive-thru mostly and have never had a long wait even when they were busy. I have ordered in person and I have ordered ahead using the app. I always order my burgers with no salt and if not included with the type of burger I'm ordering I asked for extra lettuce. They have never NOT gotten my order correct and most importantly THIS McDonald's has never served me a burger which didn't have MELTED cheese nor has any time been cold. The employees are courteous but not what I consider friendly ( Chick-fil-A has set that bar too high). I credit the management for hiring quality employees and holding those employees accountable for doing their jobs correctly and I applaud the employees for having good work ethic and caring about the job they...

Today we went to this fast food restaurant From out of state... instead of choosing to sit down and eat at another choice establishment. When i walked in i had to wait 8 mins until someone came to the register for me to order. The person ahead of me said they were there for a long while prior to me being there. The cashier showed up from the bk after a while and took our order. Placed my order at 1247pm. Alot of orders were wasted because some customers left after ordering just a pie..or just fries. They were waiting a long period of time for 1 item. Several people were comparing wait times with each other bc all of us did not understand what was wrong. There was plenty of staff in the back working to prep and serve but seemed like alot of moving parts but no results. I waited until 1:10pm and asked if i can see a manager to get my order or compensation because my order number was "in progress" on the screen since i ordered so i was not sure if there was a glitch on their prep screen if it wasn't showing. I was not able to speak to a manager after my request. But they eventually gave me the food that i ordered. Fast food is not fast anymore i guess. Several people were making comments asking what the problem was with their order. Nice place but service needs major...

I enjoy going to McDonald’s in Absecon. I have been to many other McDonald’s. This one is one of the better ones. I work right by there and every so often, I will stop for a McCafé or a breakfast sandwich. I enjoy the McGriddle. It tastes like french toast and sausage but it’s a sandwich. This time I went there for lunch, ordered takeout and ate it with a friend of mine. We both ordered the McDoubles, with an extra one for him. He also ordered the french fries to go with it. It was my first time having a McDouble. They were moist, delicious and fresh. The burgers were large and the roll was soft. The service also impressed me too. I won’t say where, because I don’t want to diss them. But, my McDonald’s close to me, doesn’t compare with the service at Absecon. I was expecting a long wait time, as I have seen by my house. But, I was delighted when my food was ready in about five minutes. It was made to order and I requested extra pickles. I already raved about the food and the service. The reason I give it four stars is because this McDonald’s has to slightly revamp itself. It shows it’s age. I’ll say it’s retro. They get a lot of travelers. But, to me, as long as the food and service is good, I don’t mind. I would highly recommend this fast...
