Mount Fuji — Restaurant in Absecon

I have been ordering hibachi lunch from their menu for many years! It’s one of my family’s favorites and usually we have no complaints! Today I put our usual order in and picked it up to bring home. Once home we opened the containers and were surprised to find such a small amount of food my wife ordered steak and shrimp hibachi and I ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi. We were so disappointed to see literally 6 small pieces of chicken and 3 shrimp and 7 small pieces of of steak and 3 shrimp! On top of that there were barely any veggies at all! Now from our previous orders we know it usually has way more than that so I called to see how it could be rectified. And the manager proceeded to tell me they weigh out their portions and that’s their normal portions! Nevermind that I have gotten these same meals numerous times and always received 3x’s that amount but over $50 for these portions were ridiculous and a slap in the face when she did nothing to try and correct the situation! No apology, no discount, no correction and no acceptance of responsibility! Sorry to say we will no longer be giving Mt Fuji any of our business bc of this! I set reservations almost a week in advance, I added 2 adults the day of, which they accommodated, however , when I checked in, I had to wait for my party. I had all of my party but 2 adults and they made us wait another 10 min to be seated when the hibachi table was ready. Finally when we were dating, our waitress did not come to our table for another 30-35 min to ask for our drink order. So we sat there all that time with no water or even glasses for the wine we brought with us (they're BYOB). We had 2 toddlers with us and they became cranky because we waited 1 1/2 hrs AFTER our reservation to have anything to eat (our salads or soups.) Our chef arrived shortly after that and was fantastic. He was interactive with the kids, making jokes with the adults and was even flirting w two of our friends. Understand this is the only Japanese restaurant in Absecon, but the level of service and the quality of sushi were simply POOR. After seated, we waited for about 10 minutes until the waitress came and took our drink order. I was difficult to get hold of anyone even though there weren't that many customers in the restaurant. Menu was not provided initially so I walked up to the front desk and got the menu myself while waiting. It took awfully long time for the meal to be served. When the dishes were out, I was disappointed with the size of meat on a nigiri sushi. It was small, half the size of what I'm used to. To me it was smaller than the sushi you would get in a typically lunch buffet. But the worst of all, meats were mushy and un-professional prepared.
