I love this place! I live in Salem New Hampshire and I will go back there! It was around 1 p.m. the only wait staff what is the bartender and the owner! They did a hell of a job. Didn't wait for anything. They even kept an eye on a Keno for us. The food was exceptional I had a chicken parm sandwich with real homemade onion rings unreal as good as the absolutely delicious! The bartender is the one who told me to get them. My uncle glad the Rubin sandwich he was thrilled, best one he has had in years! Corned beef tender not dry and not overcooked. Smothered in Swiss cheese in grilled onions I think. Beer was cold and he was happy! Talk to the owner later very very nice man appreciative of your staff and extremely congenial. Really fantastic neighborhood bar experience. Super cool people that were incredibly welcoming and generous. We had just moved to town today after a two day 12 hour drive from North Carolina (we used to live in MA but we moved during the pandemic). I wanted to watch a bit of football and have a beer. The small crowd was so kind and welcoming and the bartender/manager (Emily) was an absolute gem. She knew every customer and it felt familiar even if I hadn’t been there before. It was really great. Places like this don’t exist anymore. They are short staffed so I can’t speak to the food or the menu or even much else about it. Great down to earth sports bar. Non the flashy stuff downtown nor the flashy prices or flashy parking costs etc.... Good down to earth bar. Great food, excellent service, staff is always attentive and make an effort to be sure you are get what you want and when. 20 lines on tap, wide variety of spirits and wines. lots of seating at the bar side, quieter on the banquet side and a pass through in the middle - best of both. Oh and sports - bunch of big screen TV's and Juke box to boot (modern electronic Blue tooth - but still a juke box!). Welcoming place for locals, tourists, visitors.
