Firehouse Subs Acworth — Restaurant in Acworth

Terrible customer service. Visited this place several months ago. None of the employees ever acknowledged I entered the store. I walked to the counter and no one ever said may I help you, take your order, or nothing. A couple of other customers entered the store and the employees whole demeanor changed. They acknowledged the other customers with a friendly hello and then asked them "may I help you." I am a friendly person, so I don't know what was the employees problem. I politely just left the store. I made the mistake of visiting this place again today. Same rude service. I entered the store and one employee yelled to the back, so this girl comes to counter and honestly she and I just stared at each other for a few minutes. She finally said Hi. I gave a slight smile and said hi. She never said anything else, so again I just left. These employees clearly need some customer service training. I will NEVER visit this place again. I'd like to give this Firehouse praise! Last Wednesday I took my kids to Menchies next door and after we sat down to eat our ice cream my little one had to use the bathroom. Unfortunately Menchies told me "due to covid we are not allowed to let anyone use the restroom". We packed our things up and rushed down to Firehouse Subs. The staff was so friendly as soon as we walked in! I explained to them my little one had to use the restroom and they graciously directed me to their restroom. They were so nice my 5 year old said "well they were very nice!" I totally agreed! When we came out of the restroom I thanked them and they then offered my kids fireman hats! I think that was so thoughtful especially since we didnt eat there we only ended up there by default. But I will definitely be eating there soon becuase of the awesome staff! This place has went severely down hill I went in to get something to eat ordered a large with a combo $25 I complained about the price rightfully so the girl dropped the price so I thought it was some mistake on her part no she just downgraded my sandwich to a small and didn't say anything to me I'm sorry but 20 to 25 is ridiculously to high for sandwiches with combos especially when the service is bad from young kids that barely know what there doing I will never eat at firehouse again until the price lowers to where its affordable and the service is improved which I highly doubt will never happen considering it's always been young people that work there but there was always a older manager there which doesn't seem like there is that anymore you got a bunch of kids standing around talking not paying no attention to customers they don't even bring you the food to your table like they used to so until that changes I'm not eating...
