Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Ada Township

Used to love this place. Saw a DoorDash driver come in for a large catering order and since it was 20 pizzas, he wasn’t happy when he was told “sorry, we canceled that so our own driver can take that.” I was furious for him! Rightfully, he asked “so you’re not delivering orders unless you find it worth your while and then outsourcing the bad tipping orders and the cashier just said “sorry. It’s just how we do it.” It’s despicable business practice and I won’t ever be returning to this location if they’re picking and choosing which order they FEEL like taking. You either need the help or you don’t. You made someone waste gas, drive over to your location and just say “sorry, not sorry. Have used the location for years. Most recent experience was not very good. This location must have staffing issues. Delivery was going to be approximately 40 min. After 80 min I pull up the email to track the order and it shows “complete”. Check the front porch to see my items just sitting on the steps. (Todays temp is 44) My 2 food items were cold, 2 liter was missing, and incorrect sauces we given. So glad we have a Hungry Howies in Ada! My daughter wanted pizza for her birthday, Howies had tons of options! I stopped in to make sure i got everything i was looking for. The manager Heidi that helped me was extremely kind and very knowledgeable! i walked out with four large 2 topping for about 10 dollars a pop! Not to mention all their FREE flavored crust choices!
