Update: We ended up throwing away most of the food after finding a long blonde hair baked into the cheese bread.
Absolutely horrid experience. My girlfriend and I had placed an order for delivery online. After about 30 minutes we recieved notification that the order was 'out of the oven' and another half hour went by. Never got a new update, never heard anything from the location. My girlfriend decided to call them to figure out what the problem was. She was greeted with confused responses about only having 1 delivery driver and that they tried to call us to notify us of the wait but the phone number that the gentleman gave us over the phone was for the complete wrong order (we did confirm that her number was correct on the order but obviously no attempt to contact us was made). At one point the same gentleman told us our order hadnt even been started yet. With obvious confusion on both ends at this point we just wanted our food and told him if it was indeed ready that we would pick it up (now knowing that we would be waiting an additional 45 minutes for the delivery driver to finish dropping off what he had and go back to pick up our food). We arrived at the location to pick up said food, which I might add is 5 minutes down the street, and the same gentleman we talked to on the phone immediately knew we were there to pick up the order, and still without any kind of apology he asked if we wanted another 2 liter to make up for it. We asked to speak with the manager to not have to deal with the same confused man. They both didnt seem to know what to do and after still paying a portion of the bill, THE ORDER WAS COLD AND WRONG. Never using this...
Read moreTreatment of customers has gone down fast here. I just picked up my order and was treated horribly by Joel. Here’s exactly what happened, which can be verified by their surveillance should my words be called into question.
I walked in and told Joel I was there for a pickup. He asked me my name, so I told him. He said they didn’t have anybody under that name. Long story short, they mistakenly put me down under the wrong name.
He then mentioned that I also had cinnamon sticks. I told him I did not order cinnamon bread sticks. He said that’s what they had. I said I am 110% I said garlic — not cinnamon. I could not be more sure of this. He said, “we’ll, that’s not what’s in the receipt.” He was adamant and even confrontational that I made the mistake. I got upset and told him, “You guys messed up.” So what did he do? He walked away in the middle of the conversation and with his back turned towards me all the way in the back he said, “Cody will take care of you.” and just left. His tone was careless and was his way of telling me, “I win, you lose.”
I don’t know if management will actually care, but I am logging this complaint with corporate because a couple weeks ago, my wife was also treated in an unacceptable manner as well. I have no idea what happened to this place. It used to be great.
I wish I could come back here, but I simply can’t support a...
Read moreThe staff is always courteous and the drivers friendly at the Wood Dale, IL Dominos. I always get the thin crust pepperoni, they do a great job on it. I grew up loving thin crust (my dad makes phenomenal thin crust pizza), and have it all over the country (from work travels) in search of great thin crust pizza. I know taste often is a personal thing, but I think Domino's make one of the best thin crust pizzas, not too saucy or cheesy. Don't get me wrong, we have great local pizza joints as well, but when it comes to thin crust, Domino's is a high bar to match; perfect amount of flakyness, but never hard. Their great tasting sauce is an excellent compliment with the pepperoni. The only other thing I order (for my son) is the chicken bacon ranch (and he is picky - this is the only pizza he eats besides papa's). I have Domino's here and there when on the road, so it great to know they have the same methods...
