Our recent visit to Lucia Rose Italian Restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish. In every aspect, this charming establishment exceeded our expectations and left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With a delectable array of dishes and the exceptional service provided by our server, Olivia B., Lucia Rose truly stands out as a culinary gem.
To kick off our dining experience, we savored the fried calamari, and it was a true revelation. The calamari was flawlessly cooked to a crispy golden perfection, showcasing tender and succulent meat. Each bite was a burst of flavor, complemented perfectly by the accompanying marinara sauce. It was an exceptional start to our meal.
Moving on to the main courses, both the Chicken Parmesan with Pasta and the spicy rigatoni hot chicken were outstanding. The Chicken Parmesan was a masterpiece of culinary artistry. The chicken was moist and tender, generously smothered in a flavorful tomato sauce and topped with a heavenly layer of melted cheese. Paired with perfectly cooked pasta, it was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more.
The spicy rigatoni hot chicken was a revelation. The combination of tender chicken, al dente rigatoni, and a zesty tomato sauce was a culinary symphony. The spiciness was expertly balanced, allowing the flavors to shine without overpowering the dish. It was a true testament to the chef's skill and creativity.
Throughout our dining experience, Olivia B. provided us with exceptional service. Her warm and friendly demeanor, coupled with her extensive knowledge of the menu, made us feel like valued guests. She attentively catered to our needs, ensuring our glasses were never empty and answering our questions with enthusiasm and expertise. Olivia B. truly elevated our dining experience, and we are grateful for her outstanding service.
To complement our meal, we enjoyed a carefully curated selection of beverages. The Italian soda was a refreshing and delightful choice, while the rich and velvety red wine perfectly complemented the flavors of our dishes.
In conclusion, Lucia Rose Italian Restaurant is a culinary haven that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. From the impeccable fried calamari to the outstanding Chicken Parmesan with Pasta and the unforgettable spicy rigatoni hot chicken, every dish is a testament to the chef's expertise. Combined with Olivia B.'s exceptional service, our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We wholeheartedly recommend Lucia Rose to anyone seeking an unforgettable Italian...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt tell how the food was because my meal never came to the table. We have been here many times, but for some reason this time the service was absolutely horrible. The server took our order for our appetizers and no problem. The she came back and took our orders for our main dish. We ordered and thatās when all hell broke loose. The meal prep brought some dishes to our table and one of the dishes wasnāt what I had ordered. The server took the dish from him and walked off with it. Everyone but I received their dish. The server never came back to check on us to see if everything was okay. We asked someone to get our server to no avail. Then we asked to get some water all the while Iām still waiting for my food, to no avail. Finally I went and asked for the manager. I told her everything that happened, she said that our server was new. I had told her that we frequent this restaurant a lot and that we had seen her working there last month. The manager went to check things out. Comes to the table with the server finally and the server asks me what did I order. I told them Iām not going to tell you again what I ordered. After waiting close to forty five minutes for our server to check on us, I said give me my bill Iām leaving. The manager gave me 50% off my bill, but the server never told us there was an up charge for gluten free. And they add a 3.5% hospitality fee. To our bill. I would say that they missed the mark on hospitality. This was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I donāt think I will be going back. The hospitality fee put me over the edge. I didnāt notice it until later on. Whoever is training their servers should be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time here. No staff has masks. Very friendly and attentive. I would categorize this as a bar with Italian food. The place itself is beautufully decorated and very modern. The restrooms are superb. There is very loud, and stressful music playing. This is not a place to go with a group to try to talk. The menu is printed small and is limited. Drink menu is the same size as food menu. The menu is a la cart. The pizza is 12" but not specified on the menu. I ordered Ortoclania pizza, well done. It has a nice variety of veggies and an olive oil with a kick. The flavor was very good, problem I had was the bottom was a super thin crust, and was wet. Not strong enough to hold the toppings. My husband had pizza with just marinara sauce....same thing, no bottom crust to speak of. Desert menu, nonexistent. We had the waiter rattling off a bunch of stuff. I picked the chocolate mousse, my husband vanilla ice cream. After eating the mousse I realized it had expresso in it, which gave me a headache and usually affects my heart rate. It would be nice to look at a menu. As per other reviewers this is a pricey place. I had one glass of, not so generous wine, for $12. and my husband had 2 Miller Lite beers for $6 each. Our bill with tip was $100. I just don't think it's worth the price. Maybe a younger crowd would find this enjoyable but I found the music stressed me out. I want this restaurant to succeed since it's in my town. I just think it's geared for a younger bar crowd. Everyone was nice and the service...
