WORST customer service I have EVER had at a Zaxbys location. We walked in the door at 9:00PM, mind you the website stated the facility did not close until 10:00PM. We had a group of four, and another group of two walked in behind us as well as a single person behind them. After walking in we were greeted very rudely while one of the hostess were standing outside in the drive through talking to someone in a vehicle. After walking in the MANAGER said “I’m locking the doors do not take any more orders”. This was at 9:00. From the time we walked in till the time we left they turned away 9 cars in the drive thru, and 4 that walked to the door saying “Sorry, we’re closed”. Upon walking to the counter we were stared at like we were interrupting whatever they had going on. There was one person in the seating area that already had their food and was getting finished up. We proceeded to order our food, and while we were ordering she was in such a rush to finish with us she pretty much cut our words off every time we tried to say something. After we ordered, we fixed our drinks and had a seat. The other two men behind us ordered, and had a seat also. The other guy hung out at the counter (guessing he knew someone who worked their). We sat for about 10-15 minutes. The two we had with us had already gotten their food which we ordered with. We waited another 10 minutes and never got our food. I proceeded to walk to the counter and ask about our food. They said oh we’re still cooking it. We did not have a to go order we were dining in. About 2 minutes after that, they called our number it was in to go plates. Went to the table, opened the order, and it was wrong so I took it back to the counter with the receipt. The guys that walked in behind us were now at the counter waiting on their order. When I told the hostess what was wrong the gentlemen beside me said “oh you all got our order”. We hadn’t touched it, so to avoid him having to wait longer he took the bag and went on his way. So again we were waiting on our food. In the meantime of us standing at the counter waiting, We FINALLY get our food after about 30 minutes of waiting. We sat down and ate while our other two family members were already done waiting on us. While sitting, we heard the women INCLUDING the MANAGER talking about the gentleman that had just walked to the counter and asked could he have his coleslaw because it wasn’t in his order. (They were out apparently). They said and I quote, “F* what that man thinks he can eat what he got”. I was in shock. They said this so loudly the ENTIRE dinning area heard them and the man and his friend got up and walked out. They was food under almost every other table in the dining area. Flies EVERYWHERE, and even dead ones lying on the tables and in the window seals. Trash was over flowing, no forks in the area by the drinks, and the drink machine leaked all over your hand while trying to fix a drink. Poor service, poor management, poor quality food, and DISGUSTING dining area. Will NOT be back until some other employees are hired to take better care of...
Read moreI really wanted a good chicken sandwich, so we selected this place (based on tv ads, billboard photos and previous experience at a different location) to stop for dinner when traveling from TN to Florida. Well, we should have gone SOMEWHERE ELSE. This was a terrible experience. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The cashier seemed like she could care less about any customers. One of the workers in the kitchen finally looked up and saw us still standing and waiting and she asked, "have you been helped." I said "Yes, we ordered a long time ago. It was just a Signature Sandwich and a Chicken Finger's Snack with fries. She looked around and then told us they were waiting on the fries. (This is after 20+ minutes of waiting.) There were no napkins in the drink/condiments station, and the whole place just felt "dirty." We used the restrooms, and they were not very clean. There were cats (I love cats...but felt sorry for these) just sitting in parking spaces, and when I asked (during our long wait) if they knew about the cats, the cashier said, yeah, we don't know what's going on with that." Our food was placed in the window and she took her time getting it and bringing to us. It smelled and tasted like old grease, and my sandwich was not hot at all. It was so hard on one side, that I could not even bite it. The bread also had a "funny" taste...like "first aid cream." I kept apologizing to my husband for stopping at this Zaxby's in Adele. We could have gone ANYWHERE that would have been better than this. It was greatly disappointing, and really set up behind in our travel schedule, since we ordered our food "to go" so we could keep moving along. We could have had a nice sit-down meal somewhere else for the same...
Read moreI was absolutely disappointed in the employees and the management team. They had very bad attitudes, no professionalism at all. Our food was given to the wrong customer and I literally watched the customer open the food, touched the food and brought it back to the counter and said it want hers. The employee takes the food and put it in a new bag and tried to give it to my family and I said no ma'am the food needs to be redone. No apologies and got more of an attitude when we asked for a refund. The employee Ericka got very loud, manager came to the front and should have asked the young lady to remain silent and let her handle it but she didn't. She just let this young lady continue to be disrespectful to us. Ericka also was telling he business about her boyfriend left her and unfortunately we have nothing to do with that. My theory is if you don't want to be there then go home. We all deserve respect, especially when we are being very respectful to you. It seems none of the team wanted to be there. Just horrible...
