For the past four or so drive thru visits I have been harassed by the evening staff and I have had enough of it yesterday Friday 6/28 one employee in particular her name is Lakesha I believe thatâs how it is spelled. I wasnât quite sure what was going on at first I did see the commotion going on inside. Then once my drink was handed to me I asked what was happening. I was able to make out some of what Lakesha was yelling about and although she had a thick slang accent I was able to understand what she was yelling about. Prior to that visit I had previously ordered a frappe drink and had asked for extra caramel. Then I continued to the window, and almost immediately noticed that the extra caramel had not been added. So I asked if they had added extra caramel I was told that I didnât order my frappe with extra caramel. Immediately before I could even finish my sentence she became very angry and the whole staff became very argumentative about what I supposedly did not order. I was shocked and could not believe what was happening. I looked at my wife and asked is this really happening right now, even my little ones that were sitting in the third row had asked if they were yelling at us, it felt so surreal. After that chaotic moment they had asked for the drink back, I had informed them that I was not able to hand it back to them do to cross contamination, they looked at me confused and asked what was that. I replied to them by asking if the had there food handlers card and if they han any knowledge of Section 428.10-428.80 :: Article 4 there answer to that was the window being slammed closed. However She did remake my drink and and continued to show her frustrating behavior as if I had done something wrong. I have had several experiences with many incompetent people that were properly disciplined and retrained and had remarkable results in their behavior. When I ordered salted cold foam they would usually make it regular (without salt) because they typed the order in incorrectly. Then when I ask them nicely to fix it they remake it with so much salt that it tastes like I'm drinking the ocean saltwater, then I end up having to pour it out because it tastes TERRIBLE. They did not apologize for making it incorrectly, instead the barista looked at me like I was in the wrong for mentioning it and gave me attitude. A waste of money. Also, any latte at this location is made with excessive syrups so it's overly sweet. It's like every barista there makes the drink their own way instead of how it's supposed to be made. ON TOP OF THIS, the service is super slow. Takes forever to get your drink, especially through the drive thru. If youâre hoping to make a quick coffee stop here, thereâs no chance. Youâll be late to wherever youâre headed. There's no winning. This Starbucks is the worst in every way. I've never had this problem with any other Starbucks especially so frequently. Ordered two Americanos in store and after an 12 minute wait, seeing the drive thru moving steadily and noticing another customer ahead of us waiting for a ridiculous amount of time at the store counter, we asked how much longer. In reply, we were told there were mobile orders in front of us and the drinks had not yet been started. Even after our complaint the drinks were not started. We waited a further three minutes and requested a refund, walking away with no coffee, after being in store in for no less than 20 mins (given the wait to be served). It is important to note that the store was NOT busy, one customer in front of us and no one waiting behind us. Hands down the worst productivity and organisation of a coffee store Iâve witnessed. One member of staff behind the counter provided rude service to a lady asking for a cup holder, no eye contact or communication. There were 8 people+ working in the store and yet they were unable to organise themselves to work in an efficient fashion. Complete waste of time from our day and road trip.
