Unfortunately there are no negative stars to rate a toxic petri dish like this place. Reviews from 2015 mention same issues as today. Health department take note of this.
It appears that nothiing has changed in 6 years. Looking back it seems that cleaning and sanitation has not changed. Maybe one day someone will get really sick or die, sue their pants off, own the restaurant and then clean it up. There is a complete lack of caring or concern by the staff. This place is very disgusting and it is no wonder I got very sick for 3 days after eating food from here.
When returning from LA we stopped at this restaurant to get dinner. The dining area was closed so we had to get take-out. My girlfriend needed to use the restroom and went there as I was looking at the menu. She came out a few seconds later and told the person at the counter that both toilets in the women's room were backed up. He just shrugged his shoulders. I told her I would check the men's room and to just go in there and I would watch the door. One of those toilets was also backed up but the other one was clear but not clean by any standard. Those issues were also reported with the same response.
After that ordeal we ordered, which was a mistake, but we were already there. We got our meals and went to the car to eat. At this time, about 20 minutes had passed since reporting the bathroom issues and noone had gone into the bathrooms to check or to clean.
The chicken sandwich she ordered was way overcooked and was drowning in so much sauce she had to wipe it off with several napkins. The chicken was rubbery and the breading hard from cooking too long.
I had the bacon king which also was drowning in sauce and did not taste that great. Later I understood why. I did not feel good once home and that was the beginning of a 3 day battle with intestinal and stomach problems. Sparing the details, there was no doubt what made me sick.
After seeing the bathrooms and the overall sanitation it would have been smarter to just have left, but were hungry and already there.
Especially now, sanitation should be the too priority of any restaurant. This location completely missed the mark. To not address an issue like an unusable restroom, which I'm sure the employees also use, is inexcusable. By the looks of things, it had been that way for a while.
Lesson learned here: if the restrooms are not cleaned and not usable, no-one responds when told about it, it is a fair assumption to think that other cleaning and sanitation duties are not being properly completed. This would explain why I got sick.
Note to owner/manager: Clean up your act. Train your employees in the need for cleanliness in food establishments. Most public places have a restroom and sanitation schedule posted. There was none here and it showed. You are lucky there was no random health inspection that day. It appears from other reviews here and elsewhere that there is no caring or consideration given to customer safety or satisfaction.

Read moreI came here to buy food for my family and went through the drive thru for my order. Order came to about 30$. When I got to the window I went to pay with my Samsung Galaxy S device. The lady at the window, an older Asian looking lady, immediately turned my payment away saying that their store doesn't accept that. So your store doesn't accept money? I asked. And she gave me every excuse under the sun why they don't take that form of payment. Even called her general manager and I talked to him on the phone. It was ridiculous. Bottom line is that yes they do take that form of payment but are unfamiliar with it and afraid to try something new because of narrow-mindedness to something possible obscure. After politely informing the lady that she was erroneous, telling her to try listening instead making excuses and making herself look foolish by contradicting herself in the many reasons why they don't accept this form of payment, I finally drove around, went inside and taught her how to accept this form of payment and explained that this was not anything to be alarmed about. Samsungs methods of payment aren't apples methods of payment, different tech is used for each. For this particular method I was using, I can have my phone at an ATM or card machine from 1993 and it will work. Once I showed her and my payment went through and was accepted. She apologized and explained she didn't know about this and that people bring their iPhones in trying to pay alot and so on. I just told her to open her mind a bit and don't be afraid to try something new. I have a certain bank who's cards seem to not last very long. The strips rub off after just days in my wallet. Jeanette (who identified herself as the manager) was so incredibly rude! I was appalled at the way I was treated. Paid with cash and card. She was upset that I gave her the cash first and rudely scolded me with, "The card was supposed to go first!" Before turning around and talking about me to her co-workers. Ummmm...I don't work at Burger King and it's not my job to know how to work the cash register! That's your job! I asked for the corporate office number and she gave me the store number. I waved her back to the window and told her that this was the store number. She told me there was no corporate office number. I even asked her again to be clear and she told me there was no corporate office number I could just do the survey. Uhhh...that just doesn't seem right. She litterally spent the entire conversation rolling her eyes at me and looking up as if I was bothering her! Burger King has done a decent job of rebranding but this store gives the whole chain a bad reputation. Advice to the owner...please train your managers on Customer Experience.
