Starbucks — Restaurant in Affton

Not supposed to have sugar (Yes this very important) so I ordered an iced coffee with SUGAR FREE Vanilla, cinnamon (You know like REAL cinnamon ... the spice kind) and Splenda ON THE SIDE so I could have a little bit of sweetness without sugar and decide how sweet it was... I even told them that I wanted to decide on the sweetness.... So they put Cinnamon syrup in there.

SMH Thank you Starbucks for paying attention to what your customer ordered... maybe if someone obviously wants no sugar in their drink then you should ask if it is syrup or regular cinnamon.

I usually go to another Starbucks and they have never asked they just always gave me cinnamon but I have only ordered it 3 times in the past 3 months.

I drank half of it before realizing there was sugar in it because Splenda masked it, plus I was driving and I thought I had just added too much Splenda. I didn't realize until I sat down at my desk and saw the label on it and noticed there was no cinnamon flecks in it that something was wrong.

I noticed when I got to work... they informed me I could have a free one on them... well that helps me really well today after I have been up all night dealing with a fussy baby.

Honestly Starbucks people... use common sense and I know to most people I am over reacting but not consuming sugar or a lot of unhealthy carbs is very important. There is no taking days off and I do not drink soda at all... sugar free tea (No sweetener at all... not even Splenda). This is a rare treat for me.

On a more positive note now that I vented

Manager was really nice but sounded a little inexperienced. She tried blaming the wrong person saying the girl was new and wouldn't have known to ask... when I said it was a guy who took the order she said he should have known he had been there long enough. She was honest... that was nice.

Staff was friendly.... the girl at the window was pleasant and I will give them another chance and if they can manage to give me sugar free when I ask for it then I will happily give them more stars. One mistake shouldn't earn you a terrible score...

This location hands down is the absolute best.

On September 8th, I had my first in-person meetings for work after returning from leave and I was exceptionally nervous. I volunteered to bring coffee and the night before I put the order in the app and in the morning hit submit, left my house and headed over to this location. When I arrived they let me know that their online ordering was down and my order likely was rerouted to a different location. Cesar asked what I ordered (3 black coffees) and he said they’d make them at no charge and informed me I could check the app to see where my order went and I could call that location to cancel my order. It was honestly just the most uplifting experience I could have had on such an important day for me. I told Cesar I would leave a Google review because I was just so surprised by their friendliness, energy, and generosity. I know I took almost a month to write it but I knew I wanted to take my time on it because it was truly the thing I needed to start my day out on such a positive note.

I had a great experience at this location today. I haven't been to Starbucks very many times, and so am not familiar with the menu, and the very nice woman working the drive thru listened to me describe what I wanted, and suggested a customized drink for me, that was perfect! Then as a cherry on top, she asked if I wanted a large berry boba type drink that someone else had changed their mind about and ordered but didn't want. I said sure, thinking I could give it to a neighbor or something, as I was headed home. When I pulled up to my house, a young man was working out in the extreme heat on the neighbor's driveway. I asked him if he wanted the boba drink and he was beyond grateful! And said his girlfriend had been wanting to try it, but now he got to try it first.
