We went there one Saturday night, around 8:30pm. The reviews were great but unfortunately our experience was not. We ordered sorullitos, carne frita and tostones as entry. Los sorullitos and the carne frita were great, good consistency for los sorullitos (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and very tasty as well). The carne frita was very good as well, the barbecue sauce was a good surprise. Los tostones were not brought together with the other entries (they brought them out when we were done eating) and they were tasteless and pretty much raw. Now with the main plate, we asked if they had any kind of fresh fish and they said that they have fresh fillets of Mahi Mahi and Red Snapper. We chose two plates of Red Dnapper with arroz con habichuelas (one al matequilla and the other one al ajillo) and a plate of mofongo with shrimp (al ajillo). Both fish plates were bad in too many ways to remember: to begin with, the fish was not fresh. It was impossible to cut or to eat. Las habichuelas were cold and very watery. The mofongo was more like a soup of mofongo with shrimp. We told the waitress about our complaints about both of the fish plates but unfortunately they considered that only one of them should not be paid for. I’ve added a picture that shows the state of the fish plate. Maybe we were here on an off night but we will not come back after...

This was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in my 40 years of life. I don’t write reviews often, but this one deserves to be known.
From the moment we arrived, the service was appalling. We waited two hours — yes, TWO — with no updates, no check-ins, and not even a basic courtesy to ask if we wanted to order drinks. We had to chase down the staff just to get water.
When the food and drinks finally came, the beer and the food were the same temperature — lukewarm and unappetizing. When I respectfully brought this up to the waitress, she was outright rude and dismissive. It got worse when I asked to speak to the manager. He didn’t apologize, didn’t listen, didn’t offer to fix the issue — instead, he literally walked away while we were talking. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from any restaurant staff, ever.
There was absolutely no effort to accommodate us, and no accountability for the poor service. My child waited patiently this entire time, and it’s outrageous that we were treated like we didn’t matter.
Save your time, money, and dignity. This place does not care about its customers, their experience, or basic hospitality. I wouldn’t go back here if it was the last...
Read moreThis review is based on the food, drinks, and service. The first time my family and I stopped for beers and to try small plates. My parents shared a plate of conch salad with tostones, and they said it was tasty and fresh. The masitas de pollo were very tasty, and the mayo ketchup was a nice compliment. The beers chilled to enjoy in this summer heat. The servers were indifferent and seemed annoyed to be serving their customers. Nevertheless, we went back the next day for dinner, and my mom had the conch salad, which she enjoyed. My dad ordered a churrasco, which didn't come with chimichurri, and when he asked, the server said they were out of it. She should have told him they were out of the sauce so he could order something else. I ordered a grilled chicken breast, which was overcooked, hence dry. The rice and beans were bland. Our server didn't ask us if we enjoyed our meal after serving it. My dad didn't eat the churrasco, and the waitress wasn't concerned about it when she retrieved our plates. That is not proper waiting etiquette resulting in a poor dining experience which hurts the business. Overall our dining experience was underwhelming, to put it politely. In conclusion, this is a nice spot for drinks and appetizers but...
