I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. It lacks in Italian authenticity by a couple of noticeable measures. We definitely were disappointed to see bruschetta wasn’t on the menu and their antipasto salad is far from authentic. It was iceberg, red onion, cucumber, green olives, mozzarella and some meats that looked to be ham & salami. That’s it. No peperoncini, artichoke, anchovy and be prepared to upgrade your salad at a cost of $3. It’ll also cost you $1.75 to order garlic bread vs Italian bread. Strange. We were seated out back as it’s a dog friendly restaurant and we had dogs with us. Our server brought them water which was appreciated & reflected in his tip. The service was friendly & decent. Pretty sure there were only 2 servers working so a few delays were understandable. Of the entrees, I had eggplant parmigiana ( extra if you want a side of spaghetti) and it was very good. My dining companions had chicken parmigiana ( came with spaghetti 🤷♀️) and said it was good and another companion was deflated with his Stromboli. It was overcooked- so dark I would have sent it back. It was small and the filling was lackluster. Their iced tea was noticeably good. The server said it’s Gold Peak. We saw a lot of carry out pizza so I’d assume that’s working well for them. Overall I’d say it was slightly over average.

*UPDATE: In reply to the owner of this establishment I was not critiquing personal taste but informing people who are looking for a more Italian style of true Italian food that this would not be the establishment for them so that they don't make the same mistake i did. I am in no way debating the price of the cost of food with you and I do understand our economy's inflation is ever expanding. Still the food isn't up to par of what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. I do hope your food does taste better in the future and would love to visit you in the future and try again.* This being an Italian eatery I thought why not try it. My wife got the lasagna and I got the fettuccine alfredo to which I added the chicken for 6 more dollars. We also got the appetizer the garlic dough dots. Italian bread and salad came with the meals. The Italian bread was brought out warm before the appetizer while we was still eating the salad. The food was some of the blandest food I've ever tasted. This place has great atmosphere but lacks a flavor profile in the food. Being as how we couldn't eat the food it was a waste of money. I don't know who is cooking the food here but seasoning needs to be introduced to the food.

Food was good, restaurant was not crowded which was nice. Buyer beware though: they do not honor their own menu prices. I tried to order a steak special sub minus green peppers and mushrooms. I was told I could only remove one item or it would be charged differently. I was confused because the menu literally says "if more than TWO items are taken off it is no longer considered a steak special and will be charged accordingly." I tried to clarify with the waitress and was told "oh we are updating the menus and you can only remove one topping". Well, the menus are not yet updated and this change was not notated anywhere, so i feel my request should have been honored. Waitress said she would see what she could do, then comes back 15 minutes later to ask if I still want the sub bc theyre not going to honor it (wow! So you didnt even put the order in yet?). Also tried to make me feel bad that the manager was putting her "between a rock and a hard place". And on top of that she didnt even remember to bring our to-go order out. We had to walk up to the counter to ask for it and were told "oh my bad". I do not believe in the phrase "the customer is always right", but this was just not a good experience.

I visited today for lunch with my wife. The look of the building inside and out is nice. We were greeted quickly and able to choose a table. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and our order was taken in a very reasonable time. My wife ordered the lunch portion Fettuccini Alfredo and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad with the Antonio's Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. We also ordered a slice of the Peanut Butter Pie to split for dessert. My wife's food arrived first. The appearance/presentation was good, but the portion was a little smaller than we expected. My salad and the bread took a while longer to arrive. The bread was pretty good. My salad looked nice. My wife reported that her meal was okay, but not outstanding. My salad was about the same. It just seemed a little bland. The server was reasonably attentive. When dessert arrived, again it looked very good. It just didn't have much peanut butter flavor. My wife didn't care for the crust, but I thought it was fine. The price seemed a little high for what we got, but not outrageous. Overall, no real problems, but nothing that really stood out as memorable or special. Vaguely disappointing.

The food was very good! My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers, one large hand tossed pizza, a soda, and a cheesecake, all for under $40 (not including tip). We ordered the pesto cheesy bread -our least favorite thing but still decent. It is half a hoagie roll with pesto and cheese. The bread was okay but we would have preferred it on the dough that the pizza roll and pizza are made out of. The pizza rolls are good as well, my husband's only complaint with that was that the pepperoni is sliced too thinly. I loved the pizza. It is one of the best I've tried in the aiken/north augusta/augusta area. My husband thought it was too greasy, but I thought it was amazing. We defintely came home with leftovers and it was deifntely worth the value. I had to try the cheesecake and I thought it was fantastic! Probably my favorite I've had in a very long time. Not too sweet, but still amazing. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was a tad slow, but it seemed like they were in the middle of a shift change and it also looks like the serving staff takes care of to go orders. I highly recommend giving this place a shot!
