Highlander A British Pub — Restaurant in Aiken County

This place has an employee named Lauren, who really needs to be fired!! She's got medium, long black hair. She should not be working there or anywhere for that matter. She threatened a close someone of mine with a bar stool/chair when they were doing nothing but what they went there for. I've worked in the food industry/hospitality service, and whatever it is that expects you to stay later than your actual off time. Why? Because you always have your side work, your nightly or daily counts of items, making sure you are ready for the next shift, whatever the reason may be. So, to yell at complete strangers that are doing nothing to you, calling us basically kidnappers, and threatening to throw a heavy enough object to a person bc you're upset about whatever, really shows your mental state is not on point. That was rude, unprofessional, and just plain ignorant. You should've been the one who got arrested. All in all, LAUREN (if that's your real name) NEEDS...

Highlander is the perfect pub to visit when you're in the mood for great food, strong drinks, and a night filled with unforgettable, albeit questionable, decisions.

The shepherd's pie? Incredible. It's rich, comforting, and clearly made by someone who knows that butter and flavor are essential. If I could, I’d love to shake the chef’s hand—or possibly knight them.

Then there was karaoke. A whirlwind of belted lyrics, enthusiastic dance moves, and a supportive crowd that cheered as if I were headlining a rock concert. Did I sound good? It's hard to say. Did I feel like a legend? Absolutely.

Five stars. I would definitely come back, sing again, and even fight someone over the...

Meh...it's worth a try, but I won't be back. Was first & last time in here. They pulled a good Guinness & given I lived in the UK for several years & Dublin was 2hrs by fast ferry...I think I'm a decent judge of character regarding a British pub. The kitchen was pretty much down. Brats & potato chips... if they had a menu, it wasn't shared. Returned our glasses thinking one more... but was quickly dismissed by the bartender, & what seemed to be a regular said: "It helps if they know you, & they don't know you"....ummm huh. So, if they don't know you, I guess expect bad customer service?? Lol like I said, it's worth a try...maybe you'll have better luck then...
