I don’t even know where to begin with this review. The food is very well done, standard Tex Mex cuisine, great margaritas, blah blah blah. What sets them apart is their staff. I am a visitor from out of state and have been here probably 4 times over the last 5 months. Each time the party included an assortment of cousins and always Elizabeth, that beautiful lady in pink.

Liz, as you may have guessed, has some special needs and often cannot speak up for herself. There is no need for that here. The staff all know Elizabeth and treat her with greatest respect.

This was our first time as just the two of us and I had no idea what to order for Liz. I asked Miguel, our wonderful server, if he could ask the staff if anyone knew what Liz usually has. He winked and rattled off chicken enchilada with sides of rice and beans. He didn’t just know his customer, he KNEW Liz.

When finished with another excellent meal I requested to take a picture of Liz with a few of the staff. I thought maybe 3 would take the time. Nope, nearly the entire front of the house crew crowded around to take a picture with Elizabeth. They all had big smiles on their faces. Not the kind that stop at the teeth either. These smiles were genuine. How amazing that someone like Liz can come to a place like this and...

I was looking forward to eating here because of all the great reviews I'd been reading. My husband and I just moved here and was looking for a great place to eat Mexican cuisine for our first night out. The food was amazing and the margaritas were just right!. My husband had El Duo; the catfish, grilled shrimp, with potatoes & onions. He raved about it. I enjoyed the chile rellanos just as much.

So the reason I didn't give 5 stars? Our server. He wasn't rude but he never smiled. He acted like his puppy had just died. He didn't come to check on us once. He went by the table at least 5 times to serve other customers and not once did he stop and ask if we were enjoying our meal or if we needed anything. Even when we pushed our plates away, he never stopped. The place was NOT busy so there is no excuse. Eventually I had to raise my hand as he was walking by, so that we could get a "To go" box and our check. We left a tip but I made sure it was based on his service, or "lack of."

Other than that, everything was great. The restaurant was clean, the environment was relaxing, the prices were reasonable, the food was superb. I'm not sure that we will return. I'd like to but I would definitely want a...

We had the worst experience at this restaurant. I had asked for spicy salsa, which usually is brought out in a bowl. Instead it was brought out in a squeeze bottle (something they would use in the kitchen), I tried to squeeze the bottle and the lid came off and spicy salsa flew everywhere, our clothes, the wall, the chairs, the table, etc. The worst was that it got into 2 people eyes and was very painful. They had to go to the bathroom and rinse their eyes out to help alleviate the sting. Accidents happen, but what bothered me was that no one apologized, the manager never came out. Our food came out late. I asked for water and waited 15 minutes for it. We had specifically ordered vegetarian meals, since we don’t eat meat. My husband’s dish had a big piece of chicken in it. It’s was a very bad experience. I would never write a bad review, but I feel it was necessary because no one apologized. It was like nothing happened. The family sitting next to us were very concerned about our well being, the restaurant could care less. We will not be coming back to this restaurant. We will not be going to this...

The atmosphere was really nice. However it took forever to receive our food after ordering. Being that it took so long to receive our orders I thought our food was going to be nice and hot however portions of my meal were cold. The fish tacos were absolutely disgusting because the fish tasted old. The waiter mistakenly dropped hot cheese sauce on my lap which she did apologize for. No one ever returned to check and see if we needed refills or anything. The only time someone came after bringing our meals was to give us the check. The food and the service definitely was not worth the $80+ we paid. Will not return.
