I ordered six pizzas and two double orders of breadsticks on a Friday night at about 7:40. The estimated wait time was 35-45 minutes, which was fine. The driver showed up within the anticipated timeframe.
Given that it was eight boxes, we started passing them inside and realized quickly that two pizzas were missing. I tried to run out and flag down the driver but he pulled away. Inside, I immediately got on the phone.
So apparently Pizza Hut uses a call center now. I got a human who then transferred me to this location, and I was put on hold. After about 10 minutes, a friend of mine called on a different line and went through the same process — call center, transferred, put on hold. I finally got through on the first line at 15 minutes and a woman answered the phone asking if it was for pickup or delivery. I began to explain that I had just had an order delivered and there were missing items, and she hung up. She also hung up on the friend who was also on hold.
I tried calling yet again and was put on hold again. At this point, I decided to drive to the store. I was still on hold when I arrived. The woman at the front counter asked if it was for pickup or delivery. I explained the situation — we were missing two items, we tried calling repeatedly and were hung up on, and so I decided to come in person. I brought the receipt we had gotten 30 minutes prior.
Her first question was “Where’s the rest of the order?”. I reiterated to her that we had gotten delivery, and that it was at the house. She then asked “Well how do I know what’s missing?”. It was weirdly accusatory, like I drove all the way to the store with the receipt just to lie about two pizzas? I told her it was two items, one pep and one cheese pizza, and she went to the back and finally started making them.
While I was standing there, the woman at the counter said “It’s so nice without all those phones going off, I’m glad we turned them off”. I was dumbstruck. I worked at both Dominos and Pizza Hut for years and we never turned off phones, not even when were understaffed during a rush. If anything, we turned off online ordering because we couldn’t communicate the wait time/understaffed issue to customers.
I waited for her to make them (funnily, the delivery driver came back while I was waiting, didn’t seem to recognize me, lol). I got the pizzas and left. It was just a really bad experience and the lack of empathy made...

I called and got answering service that connected me to west market Pizza Hut and nobody was answering for 11 mins so I drove down there walked in still on hold…A young man at the register asked a girl named Angie about my missing wings and cheese sticks and she claimed she needed all my food back (I had receipt)or she wouldn’t help me and I explained my family was eating the food except my daughter and myself because our pasta and wings wasn’t in the order. I said ma’am I am not lying and this is 2 times yall forgot half my order. She then proceeds to act unprofessional and claps her hands in my face telling me I can leave and go somewhere else!! While she’s acting rude and in threatening manner the young man found rest of my food in the warmer!! She proceeds to scream and smack her hands in my face across the counter! I cannot believe they are that desperate to keep people like Angie working there. I called corporate for a refund and am hoping they pull camera to see it all I will take Angie’s advice and will never order from there again. I felt like I was going to get into a physical altercation over my order that I didn’t receive! I paid almost 90 bucks to feed my family to be treated like I was an inconvenience! Never again Angie and enjoy your career with Pizza Hut I am not letting her get...
Read moreAt 12:10 pm ordered 2 pizzas for delivery 1.4 miles away. Was told it would be a 40 min wait. At 12:47 received call that driver had "to take his wife to the emergency room." So they said they would have Door Dash deliver my order and it would take another 20 mins. Now I had to use a credit card instead of cash which worries me. Said I MUST have a receipt. No problem, he said. Then I get a text at 12:57 from Door Dash that my order would be delivered at 1:35 (more than 20 mins). The next thing I know at 1:10 there's a text saying the Door Dash driver was approaching my home. He dropped off the order and said there was a receipt tucked in. He was right about the receipt and it showed the two pizzas I ordered. However that is not what he delivered. He ignored our attempts to flag him down. Called Pizza Hut, they said to keep the wrong order and they would issue a refund and get us the right order in about another 50 mins. I said no thanks - just issue the refund and I'll go to Marcos. They put the charge through anyway. The wrong order went to a neighbor. All I wanted was some favorite hot pizza delivered - I just had knee surgery and am not cleared to drive. I can't speak to whether the food would have been good -...
