Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Akron

Slow service. Staff doesn't seem to know how to make drinks. I stood off to the side waiting for a mocha, with my food in hand, for like ten minutes. They would wait on other customers and avoid making my drink. There were maybe five people in the restaurant in total. I finally got my coffee after a manager instructed one of the two girls to make my coffee. The girl seemed very confused. Finally the manager told her how to make it. Super nice girls though,both of them. Manager... could use some guidance on customer service. She never spoke to me. At one point she walked right past me, didn't even speak to me. This was my first time at this location. I just found it to be a bit disappointing. I will continue to go to Einstein's. However, I will be avoiding this location. I hope that you have a better experience than I did. Maybe I am just being critical. But, this is not my first trip out...

Wow, I was so impressed with the friendly service at this bagel shop. Yes, the bagel was delicious too but for me customer service takes precedence over everything and their customer service did not disappoint. Although they were busy I was greeted immediately upon entering (which is rare these days). The young lady who was busy asked a different young lady who had just approached from the back to take my order and she was just as sweet and friendly. I was there on Saturday, Aug 10th at 11:19 a.m. - I hope this provides enough detail to identify the 2 team members I encountered so that they can be recognized for providing exceptional service! Now back to the bagel...it was warm with a perfect chewy texture just the way I love my bagels and the plain cream cheese sandwiched in between just topped it off. Yummy! I will...

I used to come here all the time years ago when I lived in the area. This morning I was in the area and stopped by the chairs were still flipped up on the tables at 8:00 am and front lobby lights were off. It felt so unwelcoming. I was so excited to sit down and eat my bagel and didn't even get to.

Staff was talking loudly about how they were told they shouldn't wear air pods in while working. The young girl didn't see anything wrong with wearing them, but perhaps she wouldn't have been talking so loud if she didn't have them in. Everyone looked around at each other hoping she was joking with how loud she was being. She also couldn't wait for Dunkin donuts to open back so people would stop coming there instead due to it being closed. Made us feel like a burden. I guess we should go else where if that's how the...
