Sunday, May 30, 2021 I placed this order via the Popeye App at about 8:50p, when we arrived at this restaurant only 5 minutes later, the facility was LIGHTS OFF/CLOSED!!!
After I spotted an employee inside, I knocked on the door to attract her attention. Once she finally turned around, I motioned for her to come to the door, which she reluctantly did. I explained that we had just used the app! She stated "Well, we're closed" I asked, :What about my order?" and she responded: "You'll have to go to the app and just cancel it".
Which of course, there is no option to do via the app. We had driven for well over an hour and we were hungry and tired from a day of moving.
I called many times since, but they do not answer their phones nor do they take messages via voicemail. I tried filling out the comment section on the app 4-5 times, it never goes through, it just erases all my words.
I wrote to corporate twice, no response or even acknowledgment. Over a week ago I finally found a phone number where someone actually answered at corporate answering service. (But of course they were not even in the United States.) She stated she could do nothing other than take a report similar to the one I attempted to give on their app and websites. She told me if I didn't hear anything in a week that I should try the procedure all over again.
This is absolutely ridiculous customer service from a major corporation like Popeye's. It has been a nightmare trying to get the food or a refund.
We have been loyal Popeye customers for over 35 years, but we will never ever give them another cent and I will continue to post these comments every...
Read moreThe service was terrible. We waited in the drive through service line for over 30 minutes with 5 vehicles ahead of us. We were told the spicy chicken wasn't ready yet when ordering. We received our order and made the mistake of not checking for the biscuits that went with the meal before leaving the window. The biscuits were missing and the mashed potatoes were small instead large sides. We contacted corporate about the missing items and this is the response; Case # 57LFNG

Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately, your response is unsatisfactory, because it does nothing to replace the items which were missing from our meal. Therefore, we are posting both of our responses to this matter on social media, with the recommendation that everyone avoid your establishment.
We are ashamed of Popeyes for lack of a satisfactory response. We will be seeking service at your competitors in the area; Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken, White House Chicken, and KFC. Look for our social media replies! We won't be going to Popeyes at their Akron location...
Read moreUgghh.. where to even start.. we drove 30 mins cuz I wanted the nuggets and hubby wanted a chicken sandwich..and a chicken bucket..when we ordered..we was told they was out of all sides...we wanted mac and cheese and the rice and beans...then they told me they had fries and mashed potatoes..so..we settled for those sides..the whole time these guys are in there laughing and being loud over the mic..so..we get to the window and the guy comes to the window w the tongs..bent over in the window..tongs outside..waving them around..talking about if we wanted nuggets or the sandwich it was going to be a 40 minute wait.. I was like, come on now.. 40 mins? He said yeah..cuz there's 3 of us here..so what was the other 2 people doing? Sounded like they was having a good time doing nothing..smh..so..we don't have 40 mins to wait on the nuggets and sandwich..plus the 30 min trip home...so. he says he has the 12 piece we ordered though.. so..we took the 12 piece... We get home...there is 6 legs...4 thighs and 2 breast.. we ate .the fries right away and they were hard and mostly cold..they had been sitting for a while..the mashed potatoes wasn't even half full..and they only gave us 4 biscuits instead of 6...they was super hard too... Then to top it off.. I been trying to call them about it and I keep getting an answering machine.. I am totally disappointed..and once I get a replacement I'll never go there again......
