Quarter Up has a selection of games, a nice diverse menu that goes beyond bar food. We have always had great service and food. However, they have a male bartender, who gets extremely intoxicated at the bar when he isn't working. . He accosted my brother ( a regular, and I would hope valued customer), both verbally and physically a few weeks back and yet continues to work there and over indulge and become beligerent after his shift. Not a comfortable vibe.
During the physical confrontation, *smacked my brother's hat off of his head, unprovoked), off the clock bartender was restrained by another patron and employee but managed to shake them off and chase my brothers car out of the parking lot, fists pounding on the exterior. I have spoke to a few customers that were both shocked and scared.
I am guessing they will not be back either. My brother decided not to get the police involved, as he was trying to leave in order to de-escalate the situation.
The female owner watched this take place from the outside patio and to my knowledge, did NOTHING. She has not reached out to see if everyone was ok. She appeared HIGHLY intoxicated as well, which is pretty normal on any given night I have been there.
This is an establishment that I have frequented (as many of my friends do/did), and proudly supported as a local business in the past. No more. I do not feel safe going back, as the person who accosted my brother knows I am his sister. HUGE liability for the owners. Terrible business practices. I feel badly for the other employees as I can see the business really...
Read moreAlmost there. This arcade bar does something we rarely see, a full traditional game operated arcade, a beautiful homage to the past. They have a decent array of classics that foots the bill. What is disappointing is a good amount of the machines are in desperate need of service. I know it's not easy to fix those things, but it's not rocket science. You just have to open them up and figure it out like a determined adult.
Most of my feelings of disappointment stem from the Street Fighter II machine player-1 joystick and the kick buttons not being responsive enough. It warmed my heart to see the machine screen pop those graphics, but once that experience was over, it was to next step of disappointment. Sega Afterburner and WrestleMania both stole my quarters, I guess Sweet Chin Music to Bam Bam Bigelow will have to wait for another day while my kids blow there $5 in coins to some brain rot claw games for Chinese made trinkets and knock of Beats by Dre headphones.
On the positive side, the food was excellent and the hot dog array made me want one of each.
Almost there, fellas.

Read moreI had a terrible experience at this bar while I was on the road working and feel people should know what they might be walking into. The bartenders and staff were rude and unprofessional from the start, and instead of creating a welcoming environment, they acted like customers were a burden.
To make things worse, They kicked a woman Patron out without being given any explanation at all. No rules were broken, no issue was addressed — just told the lady to leave with zero reason provided. It was embarrassing , disrespectful and completely unnecessary. Rather than showing professionalism or basic courtesy, the interaction came across as dismissive and uncaring. If this is the standard set by ownership, it’s no surprise the staff behaves the way they do.
I have passed through that area on several occasions and there are plenty of bars with friendly service, professional staff, who actually value their customers. This place is not one of them. I was a traveler and I won’t be back to this Establishment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a respectful and...
