McDonald's — Restaurant in Alabama

We are visiting the region and were absolutely APPALLED at the atmosphere, and lack of service, at this McDonalds location at 40 Wasden Rd, Hope Hull, AL. It was like a loud, chaotic, raucous party going on with employees on and off duty, and others who appeared to be their friends. Trying to ignore that, my husband and I used the kiosk to order two McFlurries. We paid at the kiosk by credit card, and went to the counter to wait for our order. After a few minutes, an employee repeatedly said to us “cups”simply holding out two small cups. When pressed by us trying to get an explanation for what she was talking about, we finally were told they were out of McFlurry cups, and they would put the McFlurries in cups that were drastically smaller. We pointed out the fact that these cups were too small, not the correct size for what we paid for. Two employees were completely baffled by what we were saying, and kept insisting that it would fit. Ultimately my husband and I said we wanted to cancel our order, and receive a refund. We were given cash back, a seemingly random amount, several dollars less than what we paid. At our insistence that this was not the correct amount, with the wrong amount of cash refunded still in my husband’s hand, we finally were given the right refund, the full correct amount of cash handed to my husband in his other hand. My husband then handed back the wrong amount, the most ludicrous exchange. The employee did not even have the ability to subtract what the correct amount was, from what was given to us, to provide the amount of the balance we were owed. I went in to buy two carmaker Frappas..machine out of order..that happends..Went to the woman's bathroom on the way there there was a spill on the floor, with a caution cone but it wasn't mopped up..Upon entering the women's bathroom, went in the handicapped bathroom area as the other was occupied. The toilet seat is loose almost falling off actually. The baby changing table had a large roll of toilet paper laying on it, not in its dispenser. How can a mother change her baby with that there like that? Lay the toilet paper on the dirty floor? Went to wash my hands, liquid soap not in its dispenser either sitting on sink with a regulations roll of paper towels sitting there on the sink half wet..turned around to throw the paper towel in the garbage...guess what? there is no garbage bag in the garbage can either. Restaurant was not busy..there was plenty of staff there. I did tell the lady behind the counter about the issues, then I walked out the door. I've never seen a Mcdonald this nasty or in disarray before. Wet floor, baby changing table with a large roll of toilet paper on it, if someone slips or baby falls from changing table because nor enough room is grounds for a law suit just saying..If it looks like that how clean is where thee food is repaired..Wish I had of taken pictures.Has any management read the other reviews for this restaurant? They are not good. I've never wrote a review for any other McDonald's before..Sad date is 10/20/13 time was about 3:25 pm or so..Look at your security tape..Thank you...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Working allday and go out of town to come back in town to make a stop for something quick to eat, because like most I went all day without eating. McDonald's is quick fast. Let's stop there. Took over 10 min. To get my order. When I pull to the window the cashier remarks a deragatory statement " Talking about her pressure being up from the job", but that is not what the customer should hear when pulling to the window. You chose the job, you know what it entails. Waited at pick up window for 5 min. ( Mind you there is a long line) , because they left off one of my drinks. Get ready to take off and realize they forgot one of my meals completely. So, I sit in drive thru. Another 5 min. Watching as everyone sees me sitting there and I have yet to pull off and finally someone says whAts wrong. I proceed to tell the manager I assume in duty they forgot my meal. With a hostile attitude "WELL LET ME SEE YALL RECEIPT" As if to say we were lying it's on your screen why do you need our receipts. We show her the receipt and she hands our other bag of food out the window.

As we pull off we realize that our order is still wrong but aggravated and frustrated we just pull off.

I wrote this long post because as I'm eating my food I bite into a chicken nugget that tasted strange. That was funny. I spit it out and bite into another. My chicken nuggets aren't fully cooked.
