Whataburger — Restaurant in Alabama

Twice now, after moving here, I've asked for a vegetarian salad, which I know isn't something this place particularly specializes in, and it's not a common request. Twice it's still had meat on it, but twice they've made it right, and the second time brought me to tears bc I didn't even go back in or anything to ask that it be remade: the young man with the fabulous hair just brought it out to me as I was sitting there contemplating where else I could try to locate a complete vegetarian meal at that hour. I know it's not something usual for a place that holds themselves out for serving meat products, but I work late, and I don't have a lot of options by the time that I'm hungry, and these folks have made my life so much easier with food options, and they've done so with grace and kindness. I truly appreciate them. Their food is (again, very limited menu for me, but I'm sure it's all amazing bc of the attention that I've seen) so delicious and prepared with care. The staff is beyond comparison. I don't leave reviews for places, but this place deserves a raving review. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. I went to this location after I had gotten off work o. 5-7-25. I got there at about 1:20am. I ordered my food. There was only me and another vehicle in front of me. I did not get my food until almost 1:50. I paid with my card but the girl told me she didn't have anymore receipt paper and I said ok. My food was ice cold and my burger was not made right. My burger had everything but what i asked for. My I onion rings truly had to be old, you could tell they had been sitting and then dropped back in the grease. Being that I was super tired and sleepy I didn't want to go back and definitely didn't want to argue. So this morning I called, talked with the manager and explained the situation. At first she tells me I can come in and get my food remade and then says I had to have the receipt. I told her the girl at the window told me that she ran out of receipt paper. So clearly someone was lying. I explained that I paid with my card and that still wasn't enough. I do not recommend anyone going here late at night or wee hours in the morning because it will not be right. I didn't want to bring it to this but this was horrible...

Ordered from here on the app twice. The first time I let it go since it was jam packed. Ordered 2/05/2025 @ 5:39pm - THE STORE MYSTERIOUSLY GOT HIT WITH MULTIPLE ORDERS AT ONCE AND WE SAT FOR OVER 40min waiting for food. The order consisted of a Patty Melt with regular onions, easy sauce, large fries and drink, a triple with American cheese x3, lettuce, ketchup large fries and large drink. Extra Medium fries. - This order was missing a large fry and a medium Fry.

Second Order 2/15/202 @ 8:21pm (Tonight) - Same order, patty melt no bun, Large fries. Triple make it a large, large fries. Got home and it was a DOUBLE. Only ONE Large FRY.

The order was promptly taken back: We were told the order was placed at 8:13pm and that they where acting like they could not be bothered to remake or fix the order since now by the time of getting the food and getting home the food had gone cold EVEN THOUGH it was WRONG.
