I came in to order my usual sub, when the sandwich artist was cutting my sandwich, she wiped the extra sauce on the outside of the bread. I then politely asked if next time she could not do that, saying that you wouldn’t wipe the excess of a PB&J on the outside of the bread. Then the manager Kayla chimed in. She told me that I was being “rude to the staff” and “trying to cause a scene again” She then told me to leave and that I wouldn’t be welcome in the restaurant again. She brought up how the last time I was in I had seen pizza’s sitting in the back after they had told the two people ahead of me that they didn’t have pizza’s. I said “you guys do have pizza’s” loud enough for the few surrounding people to hear. She then told me that they were frozen and couldn’t be sold. I dropped it at that of course because it was a reasonable explanation. I paid for my sandwich and left that day. Todays instance 06/06/2023. Store# 71139-0. 12:56pm. Back to what I was saying; I paid for the sandwiches, and was told that I couldn’t eat them in the restaurant. confused and slightly angry at this resolution. I brought the sandwiches to my car and went back inside to talk to Kayla the manager. She asked for my name, and asked me “who do I think I am, speaking to staff that way” I didn’t curse, nor did I raise my voice at the woman when I asked her not to wipe the sauce on the outside of my sandwich. I said, “excuse me, ma’am.. could you please not do that next time….” I frequent this restaurant weekly. I’ve made friends with the night staff when I’m having a late gym session. And I’ve spent well over $100 at this establishment in the last month because I love the food so much. I felt that the manager Kayla was very rude to me today, she accused me of being demanding of the staff. Even as I was trying to explain myself how I am now. If anything, I would like her statement that “I am no longer allowed in the restaurant” to be nullified so I can enjoy subway without...
Read moreSo I will not go here ever because one. At first glance, Subway is a fast food joint which offers many low-calorie, low-fat choices - its “6 grams of fat or less menu” proudly displays the fat and calorie content of each meal, alongside the AHA heart logo. However, the man who lost 245 pounds on the now-famous “Subway diet”, only highlights the fact that lower caloric intake and fat content is not strictly correlated with health. 2. Even the most basic elements of a meal at this fast food chain are toxic. In North America, Subway has been taken to task for using azodicarbonamide as a dough conditioner and bleaching agent in its bread. Often used in the production of yoga mats and shoe rubber, this additive is banned in most countries for its possible role in causing cancer and a number of respiratory ailments. 3. A meal at Subway is packed with a shopping list of unhealthy and hidden ingredients. In addition to chemical additives, all menu items are loaded with sodium and include refined flour and sugar, preservatives, artificial colors, nitrates, GMOs, and hidden sources of MSG. The sheer number of ingredients in a Subway meal attests to its poor nutritional value, with the popular Italian BMT at Subway topping out at over 130. Even salad items which have been given the AHA’s “red check” are suspect from a health standpoint. Noteworthy is the Double Chicken Chopped Salad which contains more cholesterol than a Big Mac. Then 4. Even if you select from the “6 grams of fat menu” and avoid the soft drink and potato chip sides, eating at Subway is a poor choice for anyone who is the least bit concerned with good nutrition. All menu items are over-processed and most are loaded with an intimidating list of ingredients - many of which are...
Read moreI’m appalled by my experience. I showed up on estimated time to be told they just received my pick up order and that they are working on it even though i placed my order 20 min before hand. They were closing the store at 8:20 although they are open until 10. They were cleaning the glass of the buffet with cleaner as the other employees made my sandwich which gives me concern that chemicals could have gotten in my food. I waited outside for them to finish but could see them through the window. The employees were more concerned with talking to each other and listen to their AirPods than making my food. I saw they were finishing up my sandwiches so I attempted to walk inside however I had to wait at least 90 sec for the employee to finish cleaning the door before I was allowed to enter. I got my food and as I walked back out the door I was sprayed by the cleaner (grant I believe on accident but still very inconsiderate). I got home with my food and opened it up to see two identical sandwiches made. Mind you I order two separate Italian bmt but they had completely different toppings. So not only was the service terrible but my order was made incorrectly as well. This experience made me never want to go back to...
