We arrived as a group of 3. First item that we tried to order was out of stock. Second item had an error in the menu when trying to order. Once we were finally able to find items to order through the automated order screen, we placed the order, grabbed a table number and proceeded to talk and wait, while admiring the in-table wireless chargers on the high top tables. We saw a few customers place orders using the exact same system, and receive their orders fairly quickly. We talked a while more while I watched our entire order sitting on the expo counter throughout multiple transactions and conversations with coworkers. One of our party politely asked if our order was coming up and the girl looked over and said "Oh the item I was waiting on just came up". The item had not just come up, the whole order was sitting there. The girl said she would box it up so my party came back to talk and wait. The girl then proceeded to find other FOH responsibilities to tend to while our food continued to sit on the expo counter. I then went to ask again about having out items bagged and sent out to which she said she oukd again, after which she made and poured another specialty drink for a customer that had arrived recently, at which point I had to ask a third time, which is when she finally bagged all of the items that had been sitting together becoming cold and...
Read moreFirst, I have to say that the staff here is absolutely wonderful—genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. That level of service really stands out and is a major positive.
The location itself feels more suited to takeout or a quick bite rather than a traditional sit-down experience. Orders are placed via a tablet just inside the entrance, which adds to the fast-casual vibe.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. Some dishes we enjoyed, while others didn’t quite measure up to what we’ve had at other Asian restaurants. The sushi was decent, but the preparation style wasn’t quite to our preference, and the overall cost felt a bit high compared to similar spots. The appetizers had good flavor, though they were a little on the greasy side.
One small detail that affected the experience was the use of paper dishes. Our sushi rice stuck to them, making it difficult to eat neatly.
We really wanted to love it, especially for the sushi, but it fell a bit short for us. That said, the clean environment and attentive staff—who were actively cleaning up after guests—left a great impression. Because of that, we’d consider returning to try other menu options. The people working here truly make it worth a...
Read moreOrdered 2 meals and a dragonfruit drink. Paid $38. Got the 2 meals after around 15 minutes in and the package showed $30. When asking where our drink was they said there was no drink. When saying we paid $38 they said they'll check the receipts and let us know. 15 minutes go by of us staring at the counter go by, serving other customers and even saw them whispering about us from behind the counter. I went up showed them the receipt, and bank statement of $38 and asked that I want a refund of the drink. When checking into it again they said "Oops we forgot to take off that we're out of the dragonfruit so we took it off the receipt." That would have been helpful knowledge 45 minutes ago for a takeout order....Then i asked why you didnt come and update me and their response was "we didn't find a drink receipt". So i paid for something knowing they didnt have it and didnt refund me. Thats fraud. We also had an 11 month old baby with us who was getting ancy just sitting there, and they knew that. The noodles were terrible compared to the Winter Park Bento. It was the most unprofessional sequence of events I have ever been apart of. 1 Star. Ruined Bentos image for me. Will never recommend that...
