Overall, food was great and service was good while we were eating our meal, paying at the counter afterwards was rather odd.
We usually do not go for the buffet at restaurants, but when we walked in, the person at the front convinced us with $14.99 for adults and $8.99 for children buffet prices. I went to pay up front, and they said no, eat first then pay. After filling our bellies with delicious food from the buffet, I went to the register and the bill was over $100. The person at the counter charged full adult meals ($14.99) for me, my partner, and our children 13, 10, and 8 months old. When I said I was told children were supposed to be $8.99, they pointed to a sign next to the register that said children were 3-9 years old. I said it wasn't presented to me that way when I walked in and I wasn't even near the register to see the sign when the server told me about the buffet. After removing the $14.99 charge for my toddler, they refused to change at least one of the two buffet charges for the children until I said I will leave a review about the incident. Then the sale was quickly closed out without a chance for me to tip and they walked off. I ended up buying a mango lassi from someone who came up the the register afterwards (they were very good with our meal) so I could leave a decent tip for the good service we received...
Read moreI ordered the Shrimp Korma, and Mango Lassi.
The Shrimp Korma does come with the shell still partially on the shrimp, so be careful. It is definitely spicy when you first start eating it but it calms down. The plain rice is very flavorful and itself. But it does not interfere with the Shrimp Korma taste.
I had to do some research for the spiciness, and texture of the dishes before going to make sure I ordered what I was craving for months.
Curry- is the general spice category in the least spiciest.
Korma is the creamy orange sauce that is spicier.
Masala is the spiciest of the three.
For each category they have medium, mild and hot.
When I walked in, people were enjoying their food. What I saw the other customers eating looked very good.
The employee was very helpful in making sure that I ordered what I was wanting. I ordered it to go but I told her that I wanted to eat some there. She ended up bringing me plateware to eat some of the food before I left. I thought that was very considerate. I felt like my food was made to order 👍🏾
I would definitely go back to try different dishes.
The music was not blasting in the restaurant, so that was very nice as well.
The food reheated very well...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite restaurant where I always used to go but I think they have changed their shelf now. Their biryani is dry as rock. seems like they mix some left over rice with some fried chicken. There is no taste to it and while I'm buying 4 packet of biryani's I Especially requested the lady to make it with little bit more gravy. She started arguing and saying no we cannot do that will do the request but if u dont like it then u dont buy then when i se they simply ignored what i asked i said i wnat to tale 2 only, thrn she started ti say ots gonna be a waste and all. I wanted to ask her then why sge did say earlier if they dont make thrm the way i want, they will return it, buy i dont like to get into an argument for nothing. And everything I simply asked was to add some gravy while they make it. I always ask in the other restaurant to add some gravy on biriyani while they're mixing the chicken and the rice. I don't mind paying extra but it seems like they don't want to do it. theyDon't. Want To Do their job properly to make customer happy. total total disappointment. Never going to walk back to the...
