We visited this restaurant one morning before work for Is brunch. I give it three and a half 3.-4 stars That is something what done very well but other things were like lacking. Take a number and sit down and wait for your name. To be called type a location. Definitely to use a more welcoming personality at the front door. The waiter, however, a male seemed very friendly. And was able to walk us through the menu. And offer several recommendations based on our diet and personal preference..
The building itself is lacking character and atmosphere. That's fair if there was music. I don't remembernie just seems like a rectangle with a bunch of boots and seats throughout it.. They could use some redecorating and Some spaces could you some repurposing . Maybe consider putting or building a area. Front for baked good pastries or Homemade cookies do something that add a little bit of who they really are because walking in you don't really know what's sets them apart Or what makes them unique.
My girl had the cheeseburger Panini which left her lacking. We expect it for the cheese and meat to kind of be mixed together with ingredients, but it looked like someone had almost just made a folded up quesadilla sprinkling chopped up Burger meat randomly throughout if I got it I would've been upset if I got that not enough of meat
However I didn't get that I got the Tuna Melt and honestly I really really enjoyed it. She thought it was excellent too I was offered hot sauce by my waiter and I used it lightly every other biter so it was good to the last bite I would recommend it.
Sad to say, I really wanted this place to be excellent, however, it was just a Tuna Melt like any other Tuna Melt and just to burger wrap any other.
Nothing really stood out. That would make me want to go back again. I will probably step in one more time to see if I was wrong ....but walking away the first time. It didn't leave anything in my mind. Like, wow, I can't wait to come back. It just seems like another mom and pop diner that will live in the back of my mind as I tried...
Read moreOur server was a lovely young lady named Lindsey in Waterford lakes location who informed us when we asked if she was going to UCF that she decided to work on Labor day even though she was off to help pay for medical school. After she walked away I thought to myself, WOW, she is a perfect example of a good kid. I was glad that Keke's had the insight to hire such a hard working young lady that is trying to achieve a greater goal and not making excuses nor feeling sorry for herself. She reminded me of a poem I once read, " a bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself". A beautiful, intelligent, young woman with grit and grind in her spirit. She was wonderful from beginning to end and touched our table to see if we needed anything even when it was obvious we had what we needed which is extremely hard to find these days. I find that most restaurants you go to these days the staff is huddled up hiding from the customers talking with other staff members or checking their phones and they give attitude when you ask them for something yet they are all friendly when they bring you the check because they want a good tip at the end of your meal. I will be returning to Keke's just based on how we were served by Lindsey and hopefully we get Lindsey again. And if we don't , good luck in medical school Lindsey. You made our experience awesome and I know if your this good at being a waitress your going to make an even better doctor with your people skills. Thanks again for a great experience and even...
Read moreMy family and I just left and were visiting from out of town. We didn’t realize everything had an up charge and was basically a la cart. Which is fine, but our waitress didn’t mention anything. We assumed the orange juice and bacon that we ordered with our kids pancakes was part of the middle, not extra for each. We also were told a fruit cup was subbed from my meal to give the kids but it was not, 49 cents was taken off. We should’ve only been charged the .49 cents for the difference. Subbed means replaced for something else. If it was up charged i would have just paid for it and got what came with my meal. Additionally, when we asked for some hot sauce the manager brought me a tiny sauce cup with literally enough for a drizzle. When we asked to see the receipt to see the breakdown, our waitress never came back to our table. My husband had an empty coke the entire time we were there. We asked three different individuals for what items we needed. Our waitress also never asked if we needed jelly so we had to look for someone to get that as well. For the price of breakfast $60, the service was not great, and the food had no flavor. It was just okay. We will not be going back or recommending this place to any family. We’ve had other meals here for even less that far exceeded the food and service. $60 for breakfast for a family of 4 (two toddlers), we would expect more. Menu is very misleading even the meals say choose your meat but it’s all an...
