This was my first time dining in and I brought my significant other with me, once you sit down you’re given chips n’ salsa; the salsa was a bit spicy for my liking but my significant other loved it and didn’t find it spicy he said it was more like a sweet-spice so I definitely say it depends on your taste buds. When we ordered we got the Quesabirrias Tacos w/ corn instead of flour which I highly recommend, it comes with 4 and it was absolutely delicious and juicy. (Tip: ask for a ton of napkins ahead of time) it also comes with consommé which was absolutely divine and does not taste too salty with all the seasonings but even without it- the tacos was absolutely flavorful and juicy and filling! (but I also eat like a bird so I was only able to finish 2) after that; we ordered the fried ice cream which was not too sweet which I love because I’m not so much of a sweets person, but I will say the fried tortilla is a bit too sweet but it was a perfect balance. In total we spent 41$ plus my significant other got a fountain drink which was also huge. The server was attentive and quick whenever we asked for something, the atmosphere was comforting especially the music and it wasn’t too loud so conversations were still there to hear and not yell at each other. Definitely recommend this place for comfort, food, and overall a...
Read moreStopped by here for a libation after a few errands. We hadn’t planned on eating but we had no choice. The food being prepared smelled overwhelmingly delicious. I wanted to grab some off the waiters tray as he came by to serve a table. Natali was our server as we sat up to the bar and she had some amazing suggestions. I had a passion fruit mango margarita that was huge (ok -2 of them) and my friend had the house margarita. Now all I want to find is fresh passion fruit juice! The ambience was colorful and welcoming though the location was not too big. We ordered one chicken dish and one steak dish, rice and beans came with it but we ordered a side of those as well. Then, we pleaded for a gallon of the best salsa I’ve ever tasted. No.. we did not get a gallon of it but it was enough to see us through. (I think my friend was drinking it when I wasn’t looking though.) The salsa was brilliantly different and with a slight kick! Our to go meal still proved to be a will-go-back-to delight even after a slight reheat at dinner time. I don’t think they have a full bar - just a heads up. Going...
Read moreI visited on 12/13/24 around 4pm. Upon entering, it smelled like a strong cleaning product. I got birria tacos, as I'm on the hunt to find the best birria tacos in Orlando. I was the only person in the restaurant, which was surprising for a Friday afternoon. The chips served were very crispy, like there were fried a few times or too long. The tacos were good, pretty cheesy. I think they could have used more onion, but that is just a personal preference. The orange salsa was good and hot, I enjoyed having that on my tacos. I was not checked on over the course of my meal, but I was alone and the only one there and honestly didn't need anything, but it's still nice to be checked up on. There is a fee to pay with a credit card and you get a discount paying with cash, but after paying with cash, I did not receive the correct change back. At this point I just wanted to head home, so I didn't make a fuss about less than a dollar. I think there is a lot of potential here and maybe I'll give them another chance at...
