China Gourmet (We Deliver Food) — Restaurant in Alafaya

I am the driver in this store. Today was supposed to be my last day working here. I wanted to leave a good impression on everyone to end this job. We order here often and the food is good however, we use DoorDash and as everyone knows DoorDash adds a million fees. Tonight we place an order and put the tip as $0 since we have cash. Keep in mind this store does their own deliveries. They do not allow outside door-dashers to deliver. We know this and order often and figured we would tip in cash. Our order is cancelled a couple minutes after placing- I call and ask to make an order for delivery and they immediately go to take my order. I then ask why my DoorDash order was cancelled- his response was that the driver said he wouldn’t make any money since there is no “delivery fee” or tip. Mind you, DoorDash adds their own fees and we were tipping in cash. I let them know tips are not requirements but for good service. They lost a paying customer over greed. This restaurant doesn’t deserve a star and needs to be shut down. I ordered General tso chicken and fried rice. It was bland but the worst part is that there was a roach in my rice. Already upset and disgusted with my food, i called China Gourmet and they insisted that the roach was not from there restaurant that it was from my house. At that point I was livid and we were going back and forth. She refused to give me a refund; Until i told her i am going to post it on social she agreed to give me my full refund as long as she got the food back. Now fast forward 1 hour later i only got refunded half of my money. Meanwhile 80% of my order is on touched. I will never order from China Gourmet.
