It's pretty simple, really. We decided to try a different pizza and wings joint, because that's what we do. We ordered our food for delivery at 7:02 with an estimated time of arrival at 7:40. 8:30 came around and we still had not received our order. I call them, the nice person asked me questions......too many questions. I realized that they didn't have my order. The person questioned my sanity by asking if I really placed the order or just imagined it. I smoke a little weed, drink a little alcohol, I admit, BUT, my credit card was charged by Juniors!.....so.
After resubmitting my order, I expected positive negotiations to take place. I asked for my order to be doubled because I go big. The nice person immediately put me on hold and then came back to say the manager would speak with me. I thought "Ok. It's his house. He should do the negotiating". I imagine I was talking to Junior himself and Junior had a THICK Spanish accent. He refused to double my order, which I expected in a negotiation. He offered me a slice of cheesecake. I countered with "I really need 3 cheesecakes. Junior said "You're Killing me!" I can give you one chocolate cake and one Cheesecake". DONE!
It's 9:02........still waiting.
9:28 pm, the food arrives! It's a wreck! The pizza looks like they threw it in the box, wings are less than desired, cheese bread looks like slices of Velveeta on a hotdog bun. THERE IS NO SIGN OF CAKE!!!
My wife loses it and calls "Junior's". She gets the guy I talked to and found out he's Jacob, the owner. Jacob bumbles the situation and hands the phone to the guy claiming to be the manager. All he wants to do is is get rid of us after serving crappy food and crappy service. He finally agrees to a refund.
as of 10:48 I haven't been refunded. Jacob, I have some words of advice. Get your food quality and customer service up to par because your restaurant is NOT going to make it if you don't. Be a "Symbol...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have ordered from Juniors many times since I have moved to my house in May. They were conveniently located literally just down the street from my house. The food was good and never really had any issues until tonight. I work from home and today just happened to be a 16 hour day. Adding to it my son was sick so I wasnt able to leave the house. I ordered online a medium pizza and 10 wings for delivery. Ten minutes after I placed my order I was contacted and told that they were out of wings. They asked if I still wanted the pizza. I said yes and was told it would take an additional 20-30 minutes. After over 30 minutes I called and asked when the pizza would arrive. I was told that it was set for pick up. I said no I specifically asked for delivery . I live less than 3 minutes drive down the street, but I am working and my kid is sick. I needed the delivery. The guy on the other end of the phone was so quick to argue that it said pick up on the order that he was looking at. I said that maybe when they cancelled the wings part of my order since they ran out , they may have put it for pick up but I really needed delivery. At no time was there any offer to change it to delivery. I had already added in a tip in the order to cover for it. The guy just continued to argue it was for pick up. He said he didnt even have my address. I told him that wasnt true because not only do I have a login for their website since I have ordered from them quite a few times before, I also had to add my address for the new credit card that I provided to pay for it. SO I told him to cancel my order and refund my card. Clearly customer service is NOT at the top of their priorities. It is sad because I did like their food. I am hoping that they refund my card so that I do not have to dispute the charge. Such a sad experience for what I hoped was a great family owned business. All I wanted was for the pizza to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving to write this review is truly breaking my heart. We have ordered from Juniors 2-3 times a week since moving to East Orlando 4 years ago however tonight will unfortunately be the last. As a few other reviews have said, they are under new management, and though it seems the recipes themselves have been passed along, it's just ... not good anymore. We have tried 4 times (1 delivery & 3 curbside) & each time has been a complete fail. Tonight I placed an order for a certain time and when I arrived 5 minutes after that time - I was told there was no order found. It then took 20 minutes to "find the order" and I was told it would be another 20 minutes - which was strange but OK. The owner then came out after about 30 minutes and told me my original order WAS ready the entire time but now had been given away and they were remaking it. I then had to wait another 15-20 mins after that for the order. I ordered fries and received garlic knots. I got home and still tried to make the best of dinner and proceeded to bite into chunks of tomatoes & not touch the garlic knots because I didn't order those. After about 30 minutes of being home (9:27 pm and my order was placed for an 8:20 pm pickup), I got a call from Juniors - I honestly thought they were calling to offer me a refund for all of tonight's issues, however, they were calling to tell me my order was ready for pickup :-) Lastly - the new girl answering the phone isn't personable AT ALL nor the delivery driver, if you've ordered from them a lot you know exactly which one I'm talking about, will miss him! #BringBackTheOldStaff --- So, with all of that said - we will be on the hunt for another pizza spot. A true loss for East Orlando, this spot was a gem.
Edited to add: I got an email today that they did initiate a refund on their end so I guess...
