I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's 7th birthday at Fujiyama Sushi, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
We started our meal with the Miso Soup and House Salad, and let me tell you, they set the bar high right from the beginning. The Miso Soup was prepared to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors. The House Salad was a true standout, bursting with freshness and an incredible dressing that I can only describe as heavenly. I couldn't get enough of it!
For our main course, all four of us ordered the Sushi/Sashimi combo, and it was a feast for the senses. The food was expertly prepared, with each piece of sushi and sashimi bursting with flavor. The presentation was picture perfect, making each bite even more enjoyable. It was clear that the chefs at Fujiyama take great pride in their craft.
Our waiter was attentive and polite, ensuring that our needs were met without being overbearing. He noticed that we were celebrating a birthday and went above and beyond to make it special. He surprised my daughter with a delicious vanilla sundae, and we were treated to a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday sung tableside. It was an unexpected and delightful surprise that truly made the evening memorable.
The service at Fujiyama Sushi is truly exceptional, and it's one of the reasons why we keep coming back year after year. The staff goes above and beyond to make each visit special, and it's evident that they genuinely care about their customers' experience.
Overall, I can't recommend Fujiyama Sushi enough. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a fantastic meal, Fujiyama Sushi is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCouldnāt give this place a lower score because the foodās flavor is consistently good .. now the service .. is something else .. unfortunately. I donāt understand why this place canāt keep good servers!!! We came on a Saturday night around 8pm .. okay .. yes, it was full .. but not so bad that they messed up the order, despite the server asking us 3 times (while noting it down). Not to mention that they never brought us the soup and salads included in our menu selections for all of us in the table .. š. They also continue to cut down on the portion size of the proteins on the main dishes .. so stick to the sushi would be my best advice. Lastly, we ordered bottled sake and they were brought to us slammed on the table on the table with no glasses or cups to pour them in. Seriously? Who drinks sake straight from the bottle? It is not beer! The server also kept straight on walking and didnāt check on us to see if we needed anything else. Lastly, while we were finishing up, the same server removed our empty plates and asked āare you ready for the check?ā all while still chewing my food still. Wow! I even looked back towards the door to see if there were a lot of people waiting to be seated, but there was no one. So why the rush to kick us out? There was your chance for us to order desert! Our experience was just pathetic .. and we had been coming here for about 8 years! I must say this may be our last visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat happened to you guys? I feel like after coming here for several years this place would be improving, but unfortunately I'm seeing somewhat of a decline in quality and experience. Sushi rolls no longer have that distinctive flavor that makes you want to eat more. Rice is bland, too much cream cheese overwhelming the sushi, spicy rolls not very spicy at all, and sometimes leaves an actual fishy flavor at the end. As for drinks, I'm not expecting top of the line house sake especially when ordering during happy hour but talk about providing customers the lowest grade sake you can find and upcharging it. The only thing gratifying was chasing it with a beer. And what's up with serving tap water? Is it too much to ask to buy a water filter? After so many years in business, I'm still getting that Florida minerally sink water with ice. Gross. Our server was super friendly but forgot part of my order. Looked at me like I was crazy when I questioned what he brought over to me but that finally got resolved after they confirmed my order and brought the rest of my sushi. This review might sound really ranty but honestly, I only come back because someone else is buying. I'd recommend Publix sushi next door plus you can buy yourself better sake to go with it. My final...
