Oh, brace yourselves, fellow food explorers, for I have discovered the holy grail of Pho-tastic goodness at none other than "Viet-Nomz"! You know you're in for a rollercoaster of flavor when the name alone is a pun worthy of a standing ovation.
As I strolled into this culinary haven, I was greeted by the aroma of simmering broth that had clearly undergone secret training in the art of temptation. It's like the fragrant whispers of angels whispering, "Come, sit, slurp to your heart's content." The ambiance was a perfect blend of cozy and hip, like your favorite old sweater and a pair of flashy neon sneakers. I half-expected to see the Pho fairy herself sipping on a bowl at the next table.
Now, let's talk about their Pho-nomenal Pho. Picture this: a bowl so large it could double as a kiddie pool, brimming with the most tender slices of beef that practically melt in your mouth like snowflakes in spring. The rice noodles were like well-behaved acrobats, elegantly tangled yet always ready for that perfect slurp. And the broth, oh dear Pho gods, the broth was a symphony of flavors dancing the tango on my taste buds. It was like a warm embrace from your favorite aunt, followed by a sneaky pinch for good measure. I couldn't decide if I wanted to drink it, bathe in it, or compose an opera dedicated to it.
The service at Viet-Nomz was top-notch too. The staff had the uncanny ability to predict my Pho-cravings before I even knew I had them. They were as attentive as a cat watching a laser pointer, always there when you need them but never intrusive.
So, my fellow food adventurers, if you're in search of a Pho experience that will leave your taste buds doing the Macarena, look no further than Viet-Nomz. It's where laughter, love, and lip-smacking deliciousness come together in a Pho-nomenal symphony of satisfaction. Just remember, folks, you might need to schedule a second visit – your taste buds will...
Read moreTried out this place in Florida called @vietnomzfl . It had high reviews and it was close to where I was staying. I had high hopes for this place coming from out of state but sadly I was highly disappointed.
The cashier was nice and the transaction went smoothly. The workers and atmosphere looked nice.
What I ordered:
King Pho Bowl - 1.5/5 ⭐️
The bowl itself was okay but roughly $17 for barely any noodles was not worth that price and it stated as an XL. There is no way that was an XL bowl. I finished it in about 2 minutes. The meat was a decent quantity but for an XL bowl you would have thought that they would’ve added more meat, but the quantity of the noodles is what gave it a low rating and definitely not worth that price tag.
Summer Rolls - 4/5 ⭐️
Every place that has Summer/Spring rolls I always have to try because it’s my bread and butter. The peanut sauce was on point and the quality of the roll matched the price tag of roughly $4 on their happy hour special.
Banh Mi Sandwich with Grilled Pork - 1/5 ⭐️
This was probably the most disappointing menu on the item. The bread on the edges were burnt. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to look like. The sandwich had no flavoring whatsoever. I think this was an Americanized banh mi sandwich which isn’t a bad thing but for me personally it didn’t cut it for the amount of banh mi sandwiches I’ve already had. I couldn’t even finish half of the sandwich.
Overall for food/experience - 2/5 ⭐️
I probably wouldn’t come back if I was going to be honestly based upon the food quantity. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends and family either. Sorry but this soured my taste and I had writing and giving negative reviews. I think this a more Americanized place rather than an Asian restaurant which is not bad but if you’ve had pho and banh mi before it will disappoint.
The total amount I spent was $40.30 along with a tip included...
Read moreAfter arriving to Orlando, I was feeling hungry, so my boyfriend took us here to eat. I was very intrigued by this Vietnamese restaurant chain, and I was craving a hot noodle dish, so why not!
♡ Pho Noodle Soup w/ Beef Broth, Eye Round Steak and Beef Balls. 8/10! When I’m craving pho, this is usually my go-to order in terms of broth and protein. I love a good Pho Tai Bo Vien, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by Viet-Nomz pho. There was a good amount of noodles and meat, and I thought the broth was very flavorful. I do have to say that the eye round steaks were a bit stiff and rough in texture, but that’s because they were completely cooked through. Personally for me, I would prefer if they were slightly cooked with more of a chew. After taking the picture, my boyfriend went to the Herb Bar where they supplied a variety of fresh herb, and he grabbed us more cilantro, basil, jalapeños and lime for our food.
♡ Spring Rolls. 7/10! My boyfriend ordered some pork spring rolls to try, and he thought they were pretty good. The spring rolls were hot and crispy, and it was delicious dipped in the complimentary sauce.
。 ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ 。 FINAL VERDICT: When I’m ever in town again, I would definitely come back to Viet-Nomz to try out some of their other menu options because I think it’s interesting. I also really like their Herb Bar because it gives me easy access to which toppings I want for my pho. Customer service is also really good, and the people are friendly. All in all, solid place for pho and other Viet...
