From the moment you approach the iconic, whimsical building shaped like an enormous ice cream cone, you know you’re in for a treat. I would just like to say that this location twisty treat the people that work there are clueless. I’ve been there three times in the last week and a half and all I want is a twirly twist with vanilla and chocolate ice cream with cheesecake and cookie dough. Every time I go there, I end up getting all vanilla ice cream with no chocolate ice cream in it. They messed up my order every time. The two girls that are there in the dark skin kid little college kids. They are very rude. they threw my ice cream at me and said have a nice day. I don’t appreciate the service of twisty treat. I’ve been going there for years and the service has declined.. They have not gotten one of my orders right in the last three or four times I’ve gone there. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put vanilla and chocolate ice cream in a cup. And the last time I went there, which was tonight the guy asked me if I wanted vanilla and chocolate sprinkles. In all my years are getting ice cream I’ve never heard anybody say vanilla and chocolate sprinkles. The corporation and the owner of this company needs to reevaluate their employees and do a better job and getting their orders done correctly. I paid $25 to come home to the wrong order. And when I left there, I asked the lady is that vanilla ice cream and not chocolate and she said it was vanilla chocolate twist. Being that it was dark outside I trusted her and took her word for it when I got home, I had all vanilla ice cream. We have been loyal TT customers throughout the years, and we even leave tips for the gals who work the shop. Lately, it’s been less than par for the money you pay. Today, I was getting my kids ice cream and “pineapple” ice cream has been advertised at other Twistee Treats as being like a Disney Dole Whip. So my son wanted a pineapple milkshake. It ended up being a vanilla milkshake with tiny pineapple chunks mixed in- didn’t taste like vanilla nor pineapple. It truly wasn’t good. I took it back around (which I absolutely hate doing, I’ve never even done it before here) and wanted to give it back and get him a different flavor. They wouldn’t take it back and also charged me for a new milkshake for him :(. It was so disappointing. I even left a tip for her the first time. I’ve never been to a restaurant or place of service where they charge you if something did not come out correctly or if it was not actually good. As much as we have appreciated Twisty Treat over the years, it’s just not what it used to be, at least not at this location. I still hear great things about some other locations.
