I placed my order at 12:45 in the afternoon, I got there to pick up a little after 1, and my food wasn't ready, til I asked about my order. I got my plate at 1:15 pm.... I ordered an Alamo burger, and it took half an hour to get my food, the fries were cold and Luke if the counted the fries.... SERIOUSLY.... the burger was good, no ketchup.... And when u brought it up to their attention, the waitress says, maybe next time order ealier... wow.... Went early before 7am, place already had five customers but seats for plenty more. Cozy decor, friendly people. Had American style breakfast, Eggs Benedict and The Special. Both arrived promptly, freshly made and tasty. Substituted strawberries instead of hashbrowns on the eggs benedict order. Strawberries were perfect. Eggs benedict used country gravy rather than hollandaise sauce; we liked them better that way...lol The Special was the least expensive breakfast I have eaten in at least ten years at under $5 and was as good as Denny's. We were a party of 3, not many people were there at the time, but our table was still dirty from previous customers. Our waitress took a while to visit us, only being present to take our order and give us our food (was not even correct). The lemonade was very watered down, along with the soap in the bathrooms (we would have been better off using hand sanitizer).
