Stars Drive-In — Restaurant in Alamo

5/14/19 I just left your Alamo TX 78516 location and was confronted by a rude car hopper woman who didnt want to take my coupon for $1 32 oz. she charged me full price for a drink which I gladly handed her my coupon with my card telling her the coupon is for the dollar drink before she walked inside to charge me. When she came back to give me my receipt I told her I was aware of the mischarge on my card. she became mad and defensive saying the card machine wont return what I am owed so I said ok that's fine I just wont come back to this location because of how rude she was being towards a elderly customer and she responded "okay even better you not come back" I was shocked! she said she was the manager this...

Worst!!! Ordered a cherry limeade with extra cherrys. When i got my drink and started drinking and digging for cherrys, there wasn't any to be found in my cup. Pushed the button and aksed the gentleman over the speaker why and he replied "they dont come with cherrys ma'am".. Ummmm ok so why does the picture have them and when i requested for additional to be added to my drink nothing was said? (Gentleman rudely replied) How many do you want? Wow.. So I was able to look past the rude faced server that brought me my food and drink, but this was the cherry on top.....

I love Stars. Their fries, burgers, and coneys are better than Sonic's, IMHO. Their slushes and corn dogs are better. Their root beer floats are excellent, as well as their shakes. Their steak sandwiches are okay, but hey, at least they offer them. The service is prompt. My one complaint, and the reason I don't have them ranked as 5 stars, is they're expensive. As far as cost, Sonic has them beat. It's a shame, since they're a better place and one I'd prefer going if its prices were a bit more...
