Okay, so after the disappointing food I received when I used their drive-through for the first and last time, I decided I'd dine in this time. Obviously a big mistake on my part.
Everything was going well. I ordered what I usually do which is the baked potato with everything on it. I also bought a 16.9 oz. bottle of Dr Pepper.
I received my order and was very pleased with its appearance. I mixed up my baked potato with the topping's and added some of their barbecue sauce.
I was halfway through eating my baked potato and had drank about a quarter of the of Dr Pepper when I decided to get some chopped brisket to go.
I left my food and drink at my table and went over to the front counter and place my order. After paying I turned around and headed back towards my table only to find that it was completely cleared off.
One of their staff had cleaned off my table throwing away my food and my drink. It took another customer who speaks Spanish to explain to the worker that he had just thrown away my supper and that I wasn't finished eating it.
The guy turns to me, says something in Spanish and shrugged his shoulders like, "oh well, too bad" in response.
I went up to the counter, asked if someone knew how to speak English and explain to that man what the employee had done with my supper.
The guy turns to another guy, talks to him in Spanish and turns and looks at me and says grab another bottle of pop.
I spent $12 and walked away with only eating HALF of my meal and what was their resolution? Giving me a new bottle of pop. I also spent $10 for 1/2 pound of brisket to go.
So for $22 dollars I got 1 and 1/4 bottles of pop, 1/2 pound of brisket (to go) and HALF of a baked potato meal.
So my advice is, if you choose to go here and you are single and will be eating alone and you decide to get up from your table to go order a piece of pie or more food, don't be surprised if they throw away your meal while you are at their counter.
Very, VERY disappointed and upset about this. I am seriously considering never coming back here, even tho I like their food.
To have THREE employees act like this is unacceptable and NOT how you treat...
Read moreIf I could give them 0" stars I would!!!! we decided to try them again after eating there a few months back and their chicken was so dry it was so dry it tasted & looked like old chicken from the day before. Today we were in the area & ordered to go . the meat was moist but no flavor the ribs too. the beans were bland rice too. But.. potato salad and the carrot salad looked like yesterday's Leftovers. AGAIN SO VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!! as you can see in this picture of the carrot salad the apples are definitely old they had no texture to them the carrot SLAW and the dressing tasted almost Rotten. I hope I don't get sick by tasting this food absolutely, absolutely disgusting!!!! how dare them serve this old food to their paying customers! & knowing that it is already expensive to eat out , they obviously don't care!!! So BEWARE of this place. as you can see on other customers reviews they tend to REPEATEDLY serve old left over food from the day or so . I GET IT ,FOOD IS EXPENSIVE, BUT DON'T THROW it ON YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS WHO ALSO HAVE TO PAY YOUR ALREADY HIGH PRICES!!! Btw, Manager had no compassion either when I called to complain!! Claiming they make it fresh daily! Yeah rt!!!!...
Read moreThe food is good but service needs improvement. We had a list of what we wanted and we made it clear what we wanted when ordering via the drive thru. Now we ordered Shrimp and stated shrimp plate. We are told the wait as the seafood takes a while and we understand that the shrimp will take a while so when we finally get our order and get home. Opening the plate we discover that we received fish instead of shrimp. We called the store to find out what happened as we made it clear we wanted shrimp not fish and how did that happen. The lady said there must have been a miscommunication as they had charged us fish instead of what we requested. On the phone we spoke to the lady Melissa if I am not mistaken who said they didn't have any shrimp but that people make errors we are not perfect and that "she could still eat the fish and at least you have something to eat." The issue is not about being perfect, it's that customers go to get what they order not whatever you want to give out. Service is the issue not food. And I want to reiterate as the lady told us on the phone," we all make errors please put that on...
